Areas along and northwest of McCook to Cheyenne Wells are forecast to see a trace of snow by tomorrow morning. Areas in the highlighted area could see visibilities reduce to less than a mile in blowing snow this afternoon/evening. Sunny skies return Saturday.

Snow will begin on the Kansas/Colorado state line between 5-10am MT and spread eastward through 3pm MT. Snowfall is expected to end around midnight Saturday night. Bitterly cold temperatures will accompany this system.

We have issued a High Wind Watch for the entire Tri-State area Friday. Winds may gust up to 65 MPH leading to blowing dust reduced visibilities and air quality. Hazardous travel is likely Friday.
