We are honored to once again be listed among triadfoodies holiday gift guide as published in YES! Weekly. Kristi's theme this season pairs a local NC food producer with a western NC food producer. EAST LIFTS WEST. How thoughtful. Our beautiful western NC region needs our support this year. Gorilla Grains was paired with Legally Addictive Foods in Weaverville, NC. (Their churro version is delightful. I am sure this could be said about all of their flavors.) Edible gifts are fun. It's like giving your loved one an experience! This Saturday is the kickoff for a year long celebration of 150 years of the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market! Think of it, 150 years🎉 good things last a long time. Even though I’ve been a part of this market for 16 years, I am just a newbie. Some of the farmers and vendors have been there for decades and their parents were there before them. The community of Greensboro and surrounding towns have been a loyal community of supporting local growers and producers. Join the kick off celebration this Saturday!

🎉 The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market is hosting the 150th Anniversary Celebration & Farmers Appreciation Day Breakfast on Saturday, October 26, 2024, and we have a lot to celebrate! 

We'll be serving up a local, southern breakfast, live music, and connecting the community with organizations that support local food, healthy living, and the environment! At 10 am we will be revealing the '150 Photo Project, A Snapshot of the Market Community' in the Market Cafe. In celebration of this reveal, we will be serving up a specially designed cake topped with Yum Yum's ice cream!

If you have time and would like to spend your Saturday morning having fun at the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market, sign up for a volunteer position, GFCM 150th Anniversary Celebration! All volunteers receive a complimentary breakfast and can enjoy a morning engaging with the market community!

These two❤️! Friends and fellow creators from . Always up for laughs, fun, and travel adventures. Anna now lives the vida loca in Hawaii. 😛. Karen went to visit. Here they are at 10,023 ft elevation with Gorilla Grains in hand just to make me jealous😂😂😂. But for real…they are much too kind and loving for that! I totally feel the love to be thought of while they are in paradise. ❤️

Always working with wonderful people when hosts local vendors for welcoming students back to campus! It was my privilege to be at my sixth event with them. What a friendly and professional team 😇. I appreciate the other vendors that I get to talk with at the event. Kudos to these other local vendors who create awesome products.

Now adding 🇲🇹Malta! Bringing the tally to 27 countries 🌍 for Gorilla Grains thanks to my adventurous first born and amazing NC real estate agent and her summer vacay🏝. Malta is one of five of an archipelago of islands off the coast of Italy. Fun fact: you can read about St. Pauls stay on Malta after being shipwrecked⚓️😳. It’s a harrowing adventure of sailing for Italy with 276 people on board… some were soldiers and prisoners 😬. There’s danger, days of storms, hunger 😵‍💫, an angel, a deadly viper😲, and kind hearted people in Malta🤗. It’s a great read… Acts chapt. 27 & 28.
