LOVE our Burlington Senior Services Breakfast the 3rd Wednesday of the month!! If you aren’t joining us, you should! This group rocks and is growing! Come for the food, come for the fun, come for the friends…(that almost sounded eloquent). 8am. 3rd Wednesday year round. Burlington Pine Street Cafe.

We had another great Memory Cafe at Aurora Wellness Center - Burlington! We played a winter character racing game for prizes, opened gifts Santa left last month, and enjoyed some great snacks and coffee!

As we head into another beautiful fall, it’s time to adjust those clocks again. This can be a real challenge for some of our seniors, and those living with dementia. A few simple things we can do to help is to adjust lighting in the home as the days get shorter to bring more brightness and warm feeling to inside spaces. Also, some light instrumental music in the background to boost the mood on gloomy days can be magical!
