🚨 MEASLES ALERT: WHAT PARENTS SHOULD KNOW 🚨

Measles is highly contagious and spreads through the air. The best protection is the MMR vaccine, which is safe and 97% effective after two doses (given at 12–15 months and 4–6 years). 💉

Watch for symptoms:
• High fever
• Cough, runny nose, red eyes
• Rash starting on the face and spreading down

If your child may have been exposed, call us before coming in so we can guide you safely.

👋 Meet the : Jordan Dawson!

“Hi everyone! 👋🏼 I’m Jordan, and I’m excited to introduce myself here at Burlington/Mebane Pediatrics! I’m the Front Office Manager, so you may recognize my voice from our phone recordings or see me out and about at community events throughout the year.

A few fun facts about me:
❤️ My husband and I have been married 12 years and we have an 8 year old daughter, a 2 year old Great Dane named Christmas and 2 spunky cats.
😊 I truly enjoy working in pediatrics—kids make every day brighter and I’m passionate about supporting our staff and families behind the scenes.
🏰 When I’m not at work you can find me on the Carolina Coast or in Disney World. The way my daughter’s eyes lit up the first time she saw the castle is a core memory!
📖 If I have free time, I’m probably reading—not binge-watching.
🎊 I’m a certified wedding officiant and had the honor of officiating my best friend’s wedding in September 2024.”
