When symptoms seem unusual, testing can bring clarity, and for one of our patients, it changed everything.

After a thorough review of a case that didn’t add up, comprehensive testing revealed that significant mold exposure was driving a parasitic infection.

Once the source was identified and removed, the symptoms resolved.

Mold is common in our homes, and it doesn’t always present visibly. Poor ventilation, previous water damage, under sinks, behind appliances, inside walls, and HVAC systems are among the most frequent sources.

The symptoms it produces -fatigue, hair loss, brain fog, and more, can easily be mistaken for other conditions, making proper testing essential.

We are proud to partner with Allina Health, Arise Medical & Wellness, and Rise Modern Wellness, providing our patients with access to comprehensive testing and supports that get to the root of what is driving their symptoms. With the right answers, meaningful healing becomes possible.

That little skin tag you’ve been ignoring?
It might be worth a second look.

Skin tags are harmless on their own, but they’re one of the most overlooked signs of insulin resistance and blood sugar dysregulation.
When they start showing up on your neck, armpits, under your breasts, or inner thighs, your body is leaving clues.

And who gets them most? Women over 40, during perimenopause and menopause. Because apparently our bodies decided that wasn’t already enough of an adventure.

They won’t go away on their own, but here’s the thing: when you start supporting your blood sugar and balancing your hormones, you stop making new ones.
And that’s a sign things are moving in the right direction.
Your skin is always communicating. This is one of those signals worth paying attention to.

Influenza B might have somehow made its way into your home, but that doesn’t have to mean it’s taking everyone down with it!
Having a protocol on hand to support those who are sick but also to boost those who aren’t is your best form of defence.
Consume healthy broth, soup and lots of vegetables. Get lots of rest.
Targeted products like OrthoMune, ViraKid and D-His Jr. by Ortho Molecular, basic nutrients by THORNE, and MEGA SporeBiotic Gummies are what we reach for.

Do you have a protocol?

Make it a Habit: April
Breathe Deeply. 🫁
Most of us take short, shallow breaths all day and never think about it. But shallow breathing keeps your nervous system in a low-level stress response.
You’re supposed to breathe from your diaphragm, belly expands first, then chest.

Try this:
Inhale through your nose for 4 counts
hold for 2
exhale through your mouth for 6
Repeat 5-10 times.

Do it once a day, or set a timer to remind you to do it regularly.
You already breathe. Just do it better!

Save this so you remember to try it!

You might know to expect hot flashes, but changes actually begin years before that.
During perimenopause you also might find yourself thinking “I just don’t feel like myself” anymore.
In years prior, and even sometimes now, that “feeling” can be brushed off or dismissed by healthcare providers as just part of the aging process.
We can tell you that is not the case. “I don’t feel like myself” reflects measurable, patterned changes during the menopausal transition, which can begin as early as your late 30s. Research is beginning to validate that this phrase captures a real and complex physiological and psychological experience.

At Renew Precision Health, we assess your hormonal patterns, lifestyle context, and long-term health goals to create individualized plans that actually meet your body where it is, rather than simply managing individual symptoms in isolation.
We integrate advanced hormone testing, thoughtful clinical evaluation, and supportive guidance, so you feel understood, heard, and supported through the evolving journey of perimenopause and beyond.
We would love to serve you 💛

Many women assume they’re ovulating just because they’re bleeding every month.
That’s not always the case.

Your body leaves clues.
Cervical fluid changes.
Basal body temperature shifts.
Mid-cycle symptoms occur.

When you learn to read those signals and track your cycles, you stop guessing.
You catch imbalances earlier, and can advocate for yourself with real data.

Your cycle is feedback.

It’s 9pm and you need a snack.
Late-night snack attacks often mean you under-ate earlier, didn’t get enough protein, or your blood sugar is dipping after a long day. Sometimes it’s stress. Your brain wants quick comfort, and food feels easy.

But what you choose can mean a good night sleep or tossing and turning.

Sugary or refined carbs like cereal, chips, or ice cream can spike blood sugar and trigger a stress response. That spike is often followed by a crash, which can bump cortisol and wake you up at 2 or 3am. Now your sleep is lighter, more broken, and you start the next day already tired.

A better late-night snack is something that stabilizes blood sugar and supports your nervous system. Especially options that combine protein and healthy fat.

What you do at 9pm can directly affect how you feel at 9am, and nobody needs to start the day feeling the effects of a sugary bedtime snack!
