Dr. Glaser Welcomes You!
My partner, Dr. Goodman and I have dedicated our careers to the comprehensive, multidisciplinary, and minimally invasive treatment of pain. We approach each individual and their pain with one goal in mind- to reduce their painful symptoms, improve their quality of life and restore function and vitality. The pain syndromes we treat range from common lower back pain and pain secondary to osteoarthritis to the severe pain that can be associated with malignancies and nerve damage. The most common symptoms we treat are lower back pain and neck pain and associated pain radiating into the extremities. We have also hired a well- trained, enthusiastic, and talented associate, Dr. Scott McDaniel, who is seeing patients at Burr Ridge, Orland Park, Morton Grove and Hoffman Estates.
We specialize in treating spinal pain. It is vitally important that individuals who have injured their back or neck are evaluated by us as soon as it is clear that the pain they are experiencing is not resolving. This allows us to begin educating the patient about the cause of their pain and the safest and most effective treatments. It allows the individual to work with spinal specialists in physical therapy in our office immediately to enhance favorable outcomes. It also allows us to institute minimally invasive therapy performed with fluoroscopy as soon as it is apparent that further treatment is required. Most importantly, it prevents fruitless attempts at diagnosis and treatment in an unstructured and ultimately wasteful manner. This is very frustrating to the individual suffering from pain, their family, their employers, and the other health care providers involved in their care.
Our goal is not only pain relief but, just as importantly, the return of function and the avoidance of future pain. We accomplish these goals through education and physical rehabilitation. We specialize in treating spinal pain caused by work injuries. Our goal is to prevent permanent disability and treat their painful symptoms in a manner that allows them to return to work as soon and as safely as possible.
The Pain Specialists of Greater Chicago currently have five offices, in Burr Ridge, Morton Grove, Orland Park, Bedford Park and Hoffman Estates where consultations are performed.
