Cleavers and chickweed are two of my favorite wild spring greens. They pop up right when our bodies are ready for a little seasonal reset. Both herbs are wonderfully supportive for the lymphatic system, helping move stagnant fluid and encouraging gentle detoxification.
Chickweed is cooling, mineral-rich, and nourishing, while cleavers is one of the best traditional herbs for stimulating lymph flow. In herbal practice, their benefits really are most potent when they’re used fresh. juiced, blended, or added into smoothies.
My smoothie today is chickweed, cleavers, mango, pineapple, apple, spinach, and avocado, and garnished with a sprinkle of rose powder, mint leaf and calendula
