Wow! It’s been quite a wild 2025 so far and soon, Emmy will be turning 18!
Emmy has been very healthy and happy. The doctors have been proactive in helping her with hormones and kidney stone issues but things needed to be slowed down. Going ti the doctor wvery other month forr ultrasounds was not beneficial if she wasnt having any issues!
Estrogen patches were prescribed to help with bone health, but Emmy didn’t do well with them. She became angry and a beast to be around, so we stopped them. We continue using AlgaeCal which is still working for bone health. As far as kidney stones, we take Chance Piedra and she has had zero issues. That plant is a miracle! We also did research in the benefits of ni****ne for brain detox and use a small 2mg patch either between her sholder blades or on her arm… the energy she has is insane! We did try to increase the dose and place it on her spine between her shoulder blades, but she began detoxing withing the hour, so the smaller dose is what we stick with.
If you don’t know about how important the ni****ne receptors are in our body and why you NEED ni****ne to keep them healthy start with this video by Dr Brian Ardis then do your own research! https://thedrardisshow.com/episode-ni****ne-understanding-the-weapon-and-the-target
We alao stopped hippotherapy for the summer and decided to send her back to traditional physical and occupational therapy to focus on strength and balance. That begins in the next month or so.
And then we took a leap of faith and took Emmy and the family, with my siblings and parents, on a 5 day cruise to Mexico. 🇲🇽 While Emmy couldn’t go to many historical sights, we managed to get her to the beach to snorkel! 🤿 It was a great time and our tour guides (Jesus and Felix) took great care of us and even found us a beach wheelchair! The girls spent most of their ship time hunting for rubber ducks and Jesus (I met the lady who would hide tiny Jesus’ all over the ship!) I spent my time soaking up vitamin D and everyone got caught up on much needed rest! NOT: the bigger the ship, the more motion you feel. We definitelyly won’ be using the larger ship next time!
Funny Emmy story- The play Grease was one of the shows and Nicole and Ella were going to take her. Emmy begged not to go but I made her, knowing she would love it. After the show, Emmy said, “I didn’t want to go because I thought it was going to be about working on cars with grease! But that play was so amazing”!!! 🤩
The rest of the year will be wild as Emmy turns 18 and Randy and I have to apply for guardianship. I’m still hopeful Emmy will one day be independent of us, but until then, she’s safe and happy right here at home!
