It's safe to fly now, be free and soar

Sometimes the scariest part of going away on vacation is going back because it is in that new place you realize what's going wrong in your real life. Before beating yourself up, love yourself for what is missing ( it's not your fault!) and then tell yourself you will gradually recreate your life. And remember you have always just done what you could with the tools you had at that time. Love to you.....

You don't have to be finished, amazing, well paid, acknowledged in order to be beautiful. The truth is, the things we are taught we have to be in order to love ourselves are just that --lessons, and not good ones. The you that shows up in the world in whatever state you are in is intrinsically lovely.

If recent events have filled you with fear, know you aren't alone and hold your heart and mind as you would a small child; with care, gentleness and compassion.

If you look at the picture of someone's life and you can barely see yourself there, take a deep breath, hold on to your heart and go searching for a new canvas.

Remember, you belong in the picture wherever you are.

If you are having to make yourself very very small to fit in someone's life, it's time to go.
You may lose him or her but in doing so you have a chance to get you back.

As Holly Hunter said in the film, Living Out Loud, "What was I so afraid of, that you were the better choice?"

Choose you

Don't waste time hating yourself for what you didn't do in the past, embrace that no matter what you aren't right now: whether it's aren't in the job you want, aren't in the body you wished for, aren't in a relationship, what you are deep down is a star that just might not have found your place to come out and share your light. Challenge yourself to dust yourself off gently, say goodbye to the aren'ts and pick one small thing today to say here's me to the world. I'm always able to change. I am working on it. I'm safe and loved by people I may just not know yet.

Believe in your voice first, your power, your vision, embrace the you that stands alone still fighting, pushing, knock down the doors that stand between you and your needs. Rip out the old model and reach inside and say damn it, I'm going to rebuild myself starting now.
