Today he completed his 30th and final round of radiation 🎉
He’s feeling good and keeping his usual positive attitude. Taking time to rest, soak up family moments, and cheer on the kids at their events.
He will have a few appointments coming up over the next couple of weeks so the doctors can plan the next steps.
Thank you for all the prayers, love, and support—he feels it every day 🤍

Halfway there! Finished 15 out of 30 treatments of radiation so far.

On 11/26/2025 The Spectrum Pub put on a community dinner to raise money for Chuck’s fight against brain cancer. They raised over $3,000. Which is a huge relief as his insurance was denied for his initial treatments. We are so grateful for them hosting and the community showing up and supporting our journey.

As many people have asked for an update on Chuck and his journey here is a quick synopsis of the last month. Please follow his journey and share your well wishes as we navigate this path.

On 10/10/2025 Chuck went in for a routine check-up which turned into an emergency room visit which turned into him being sent to OSF and scheduled for a biopsy for a brain tumor found on his CAT scan and MRI.
On 10/15/2025 Chuck underwent surgery in hopes to remove this tumor and get a biopsy to see what we were dealing with. Unfortunately, his neurosurgeon was unable to remove the tumor but was able to get some good samples from his biopsy.
A few weeks later we received his results and Chuck was diagnosed with a Stage 4 Glioma.
Quickly, he got scheduled with Mayo to start radiation. However, we were hit with a road bump as insurance got denied the night before his appointment.
Thankfully, there were other options available and Chuck was able to start radiation closer to home at OSF Galesburg.
On 11/24/25 Chuck started round 1 of 30 treatments of radiation.

Keep Chuck in your thoughts & prayers as he begins his fight against brain cancer.
