In high school I played the drums for .3 seconds. And in those .3 seconds, I played a super simplified version of “Way Away” on the drums at our Coffee House concert with my friends who actually knew how to play instruments (very well). Freshman Lauren never would’ve believed this—so thankful to have been even a tiny part of The Fray’s How to Save a Life 20th Anniversary tour. Twenty years feels absolutely wild. I met some new friends who made me realize just how many lives we’ve all lived between 2005 and 2025. It was a crazy nostalgic night to reflect on how much has changed.
