💚*Update*💚
Today we went to our post-op appointment to see if the new Arteriovenous (AV) Fistula was ready to be used for the dialysis treatment.
Sadly, we have to go back into surgery next week, because the AV was implanted too deep. Between surgery and recovery to ensure that the AV is ready to use is 6-8 weeks.

Hoy fuimos a l cita postoperatoria para ver si la nueva fístula arteriovenosa (AV) ya estaba lista para usarse en el tratamiento de diálisis.
Lamentablemente, tendremos que volver a cirugía la próxima semana, ya que la fístula fue implantada demasiado profunda. Entre la cirugía y el período de recuperación para asegurar que la fistula esté lista para usarse, se requieren de 6 a 8 semanas.
Los mantendremos a todos informados.
