Many of our therapists took time this weekend to learn about Infant Massage and become a Certified Infant Massage Instructor!

Infant Massage is a wonderful tool that promotes relaxation, improves sensory awareness, improves digestion and supports overall growth and development. Bringing positive touch experiences through techniques like infant massage can help regain or sustain homeostasis in young bodies.

Thank you to our instructor, Laura Barnhart, OTR/L, CNT, CIMC Master Trainer, for spending the weekend with us!

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT OF THE MONTH: Hannah Smith

This week marks two years since Hannah joined Growing in Motion as an Occupational Therapist!

Hannah shared, “I love being an OT at Growing in Motion because I get to build strong relationships with my clients and their families while tailoring therapy sessions to their needs each week. My days are never boring — my kids are always teaching me something new or making me laugh.”

In addition to her work with clients, Hannah also enjoys supervising fieldwork students at both levels as they learn and grow into future OTs.

🌟 Congratulations to our August Employee of the Month, Victoria Chiulli! 🌟

Victoria is an Occupational Therapist who has been a valued part of our team for over two years. She works in both Early Intervention and at the clinic, where she also serves as our New Hire Mentor and Learning Experience Coordinator. In this role, she partners with colleges and universities to provide students with fieldwork rotations and internship opportunities.

Victoria is passionate about educating families on ways to integrate therapy strategies at home to best support their children. She values patient-centered care, making therapy fun, and celebrating every success—big or small.
