Looks like we're in for some rain, Canonsburg! 🌧️ While the skies might be a little gray, it reminds us of the bright and sunny days back in September and October when the giant rubber ducks took over town, courtesy of Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop! Our amazing crews even managed to snap a pic with one of these quacky characters.
We love seeing our community come together for fun events like this, and our team is always ready to serve, rain or shine (or even duck-filled!). Stay safe and dry everyone!

🚨 Yesterday was a day of critical training and real-world application for Canonsburg EMS! 🚨
We had the invaluable opportunity to participate in a multi-agency drill focusing on a large gas leak incident, alongside our dedicated partners from the Canonsburg Volunteer Fire Department, Canonsburg Police Department, and Columbia Gas. The goal? To sharpen our collective response and coordination when facing such a significant event.
During the drill, Canonsburg Police Department secured the roadway, ensuring safe operations. However, the simulation quickly turned into a real-time test of readiness! A dispatch to an actual legitimate gas leak incident in Houston Borough occurred.
We're incredibly proud of how seamlessly our teams transitioned from training to immediate action. Once the real incident was successfully concluded, all agencies regrouped at the Canonsburg Volunteer Fire Department for a comprehensive debrief.
A huge thank you to everyone involved for this extraordinary opportunity—not only to train together but to then implement that training in a live moment. These experiences are vital for ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.
