Why is it so hard to feel at home in your own body sometimes?
After kids… breastfeeding… chronic stress… hormones shifting…
it can feel like your body slowly becomes unfamiliar.
There was a season where I felt exactly like that.
About 10 years ago I was doing a big closet purge. Frustrated with the way my body had changed and convinced some things would never fit again.
One dress in particular.
It was a simple little dress I wore back when Jake and I were first falling in love 20 years ago. Running around town, carefree, feeling like me.
It was always his favorite.
I tossed it in the donation pile… and he quietly rescued it.
“Just in case,” he said.
At the time I rolled my eyes because it felt impossible.
But today…
I went digging into the far reaches of my closet and pulled that dress out again.
And it fits.
Not because I punished my body or chased extreme weight loss.
But because the last 6 weeks I’ve been doing something different.
Supporting my stress.
Supporting my hormones.
Supporting the signals in my body that regulate appetite, metabolism, and weight.
And slowly… my body has been coming back into balance.
Next month I won’t just fit in that dress.
I’ll be owning it.
And more than anything, it reminded me of that girl from 20 years ago — running around town in a fun dress, feeling confident in her own skin.
If you’ve got a dress in the back of your closet like that…
the one that holds a memory of feeling like you again…
I’d love to help you get there.
Today we’re kicking off the 7 Day Happy Weight Challenge where we focus on the real drivers of weight wellness:
✨ stress regulation
✨ hormone balance
✨ gut & metabolic signals
And there’s still time to jump in.
I’m looking for 10 women this month who are ready to feel that dress on their skin again.
Drop DRESS below or message me and I’ll send you the details. 💜
