On this International Women’s Day March 8th, we honor the courage, dedication, and unwavering spirit of women who serve on the front lines. Across every battlefield and mission, these brave women stand not only as soldiers, but as symbols of strength, resilience, and determination.

Behind every uniform is a story of sacrifice, discipline, and an unbreakable will. They face the same dangers, carry the same responsibilities, and fight with the same courage as anyone beside them. Yet they also carry something uniquely powerful the ability to bring compassion, unity, and humanity even in the harshest conditions of war.

This artwork celebrates the women warriors who protect, lead, and inspire. They prove that strength and beauty can stand side by side, that kindness and courage can exist in the same heart, and that true power lies in perseverance and honor.

To all the women who serve in uniform around the world:
May your spirit remain unbreakable, your courage unwavering, and your future filled with respect, recognition, and peace.

This year at the Canton Ruck Run 5K, we’re introducing something powerful.

💥 RUCK AS A TEAM.

This category is built to promote community, camaraderie, and working together.

Here’s how it works:

• Start together
• Finish together
• No team member left behind

Ruck sacks are welcome — but not mandatory.
Weight is not regulated.

This isn’t about how heavy your pack is.
It’s about who you carry with you.

Bring your gym crew.
Bring your firehouse.
Bring your coworkers.
Bring your family.
Bring your friends.

Show up as a unit and complete the course as a unit.

🏃‍♂️ Runners and walkers are welcome too — but if you want to experience the race differently this year, grab a team and ruck it together.

Last year, this single event turned into one of the largest motorcycle events in Washington State, raising nearly $10,000 for veterans. This year? We’re coming back bigger, louder, and ready to CRUSH that number.

Join us for our FIRST BIG EVENT OF THE YEAR — the Thank a Veteran (TAV) Ride. This ride is about one simple thing: SAYING THANK YOU!!! Every dollar raised goes directly to A Hero’s Promise, the VA Community Living Center (CLC) at American Lake, and other veteran-focused charities that provide critical support to veterans and their families.
