Whitfield Wholistics:
It seems as if my life experiences mirror those of almost everyone who seeks my aide in their search for peace and inner healing. By having lived through many of the same things each of them has, I have gained valuable insight to what is needed during the healing process. In my life I have gone through trials and trauma that most people need professional help to deal with and I sought a different type of healing process. I began studying Reiki and Native American healing arts and ceremonies. I sought out practitioners of these methods and started my own healing from within. I have preferred natural remedies over traditional medicine for many years and use herbs, essential oils, and other methods to this day. HS4S believes that in order to heal, one must heal the entire person: body, mind, and soul using the resources given to us in nature and by our Creator. I have continued my studies and have expanded them to include chakra healing, crystal healing, color therapy, and have worked within a medicine wheel for spiritual guidance. I have learned to design medicine tools for personal use and use several different types of cards for guidance and instruction. I do not believe in using these cards to predict the future, but to lend aide in staying on the right path to a higher level of spirituality. Reiki energy healing was the first certified course in the alternative field that I completed. I was not satisfied with the first level, feeling there was more to be learned. I soon completed my second and third levels of training. Reiki is a Japanese word meaning “God’s light energy”. It involves laying on of hands in specific places to conduct the healing power of God into a person who needs treatment. A Reiki practitioner does not actually have the power to heal but uses the energy of the Creator to produce the desired results. Reiki works first on a physical plane, second on a mental level, and third, on the spiritual self. Reiki does not interfere with traditional medicine but enhances it. You do not need to believe in any specific religion for Reiki to work. No special equipment is needed, only a trained practitioner. Reiki is beneficial to every living thing it meets, and the process of healing brings with it a change in the whole person, body, mind and soul. Christouch is a version of Reiki, based on Scripture, following the teaching of Jesus in its purpose and application. Chakra healing focuses on the seven main energy centers of the human body. If one of these centers is not functioning properly, then the whole body suffers. A color represents each chakra, therefore that color can be used to restore balance to the affected area. Different techniques are used to cleanse a chakra, with color therapy being one of the easiest to apply. Opening the chakras in therapy produces healing throughout the entire psyche and the body. Crystal healing works in much the same way as color therapy, using gemstones of different types placed on the part of the body that need healing. Each stone has healing properties associated with it and can be placed on the body during therapy, under a bed during sleep, or worn as jewelry to absorb the energy. Card readings given by me would be of a spiritual nature and not for asking about the future events of one’s life, but whether a person is on the right path to enlightenment, and how to stay on that path, or what lessons need to be learned from their path. Walking a medicine wheel provides the same type of insight to your path. Each of the 36 points has a specific healing that goes along with its position on the wheel. Healing ceremonies done with a medicine wheel are immensely powerful and can bring about changes to the whole person, in addition to healing a physical ailment. All healing truly comes from our Creator, and not from the person handling the treatment or ceremony. The practitioner is only a conduit for the healing energies to flow from one source into another. I also believe that true healing begins within, with a sincere desire to become whole again, and the willingness to allow the changes to take place that are necessary for that healing. We are all born perfect in the eyes of our Creator, and in the Creator’s eyes we are still perfect, and that same Creator loves us as perfect beings. Opening our hearts and minds to alternative ways of healing is the first step to becoming whole. The second step is to act on our desire to be healed by searching out the right method. There are too many ways to list them all here and no one person could possibly master them all. It is within our own soul we find the right path.

With enough energy there’s nothing that can’t be healed—hatred… war. It’s just a matter of coming together with the right vision.

We can heal this.

Hold the vision.

Oh lavender… 💜

Lavender is one of those plants that feels like it remembers something ancient.

Lavender grows best where the sun is strong and the soil is lean. It doesn’t want rich, heavy earth. It doesn’t want to be babied. It thrives in places that are dry, bright, and a little wild. That’s part of its medicine. It teaches resilience without hardness.

Botanically, lavender loves full sun and excellent drainage. It hates wet roots. If you overwater it, it will slowly fade rather than complain. It prefers to dry out between waterings. Outdoors, it does beautifully in sandy or rocky soil. Indoors, it needs the brightest window you can give it and very light watering.

But energetically… lavender has always been associated with calm clarity.

Its scent works directly on the nervous system. Modern science even shows that inhaling lavender can lower heart rate, reduce anxiety, and support sleep by interacting with the limbic system. It’s gentle, but very effective.

Because it visibly calms the nervous system, people began associating it with emotional cleansing and energetic protection. When your nervous system is regulated, you feel safer. When you feel safer, your perception of threat decreases. That’s where the “protective” reputation likely came from.

Lavender has also been used for:

• Minor burns and skin irritation
• Headaches
• Muscle tension
• Gentle antimicrobial support

But it must be diluted properly on skin. Pure essential oil can irritate.

In older traditions, lavender was placed under pillows for peaceful dreams. It was burned to cleanse spaces, but in a softer way than sage. It wasn’t about pushing anything out. It was about raising the tone of the room until heavy energy couldn’t stay.

It’s kind of poetic when you think about it. It grows where the air is clear and the soil is tough. It doesn’t need lush conditions to bloom beautifully. 💜

As we look out today, we witness a period when the pace of dramatic events is quickening, the volume of information is rising, and voices compete to define the narrative.

But beneath the speeches, headlines, and commentary, there’s a deeper level of perception available that helps us sense what’s true for ourselves … our intuition.

We’ve always had the ability to feel when something doesn’t quite align—that inner knowing that senses the off-key beat before the mind has fully processed it.

From that place, we can steady ourselves, trust what we’re intuiting, and choose how we respond. And as always, we can hold the vision for a more spiritually conscious world for the generations to come—and do our part to bring it into being.

With prayers for peace.

Beloveds,

If something in your life is not flowing…

If something feels heavy…

If something continually pulls YOU away from YOUR peace…

STEP BACK.

Not as punishment.
Not in anger.
Not in avoidance.

Step back in order to return to YOUR center.

Take a moment.
Take an hour.
Take a day.

Take whatever sacred space is needed to come home to the quiet truth within YOUR OWN HEART.

There are times in life when we become so accustomed to carrying the noise, needs, projections, and emotional weight of others that we forget what our own inner presence even feels like.

And yet…

BENEATH the pressure,
BENEATH the confusion,
BENEATH the fear,
BENEATH the habits of overgiving, overexplaining, and overextending…

YOU are still there.

THE REAL YOU.
THE TENDER YOU.
THE WISE YOU.
THE CALM YOU.

The YOU that does not need to force, chase, prove, rescue, or diminish itself in order to be worthy of love.

Sometimes healing begins in a very simple way...

By becoming still long enough to notice what YOUR BODY has been trying to tell YOU …

What YOUR HEART has been trying to whisper to YOU …

And what YOUR SOUL has been patiently waiting for YOU to remember.

Not every connection is meant to have full access to YOUR HEART.

Not every person who says they love YOU knows how to honor YOUR PEACE.

And not every pattern YOU have carried was ever truly YOURS to begin with.

Part of healing is learning to lovingly acknowledge what feels misaligned within YOU.

Part of healing is finding the courage to be honest about what disturbs YOUR PEACE.

Part of healing is realizing that boundaries are not acts of rejection…

They are acts of SELF-respect.

There may come moments when YOU need to speak gently but clearly.

To say....

“I am working on my peace.”

“I am learning to listen to myself more deeply.”

“I need more honesty, more care, more mutual respect in my life.”

“I can love you and still need space.”

“I can be kind and still choose what is healthy for me.”

This is not cruelty.
This is maturity.
This is self-honoring.

This is the quiet and sacred work of returning to YOUR OWN INNER GROUND.

The more you clear what is not YOURS, the more room YOU make for what is.

For YOUR truth.
For YOUR joy.
For YOUR natural peace.

For the passions, callings, and inner knowings that were always waiting underneath the noise.

So if something is not working, do not be afraid to pause.

Breathe.
Listen.
Re-center.

Come back to the heart.

And from that place…

Choose again.

Choose what nourishes YOU.

Choose what honors YOUR nervous system.

Choose what deepens YOUR peace.

Choose what allows YOUR soul to breathe.

Love life, Beloveds.

But also…

Live YOUR own life enough to tend to it with honesty, gentleness, and care.

Everything begins to shift when YOU DO.

Trust in this.

I love you.

I love you all as I love my Self!

Unconditionally!
