… and she’s coaching throughout time and space in style 🤣

I stopped choosing smaller. And started choosing experience.
More trips. More photos. More “yes” moments. More living.

Because for so long… I thought I had to wait: until I lost the weight, until I felt confident, until I looked a certain way.

But here’s what I know now: you don’t build confidence by waiting. You build it by living.

Have you ever had that feeling like something in your body is just off?

Not bad enough to explain. Not clear enough to fix. But you still feel it.

Your energy dips.
Your cravings feel louder.
Your body isn’t responding the way it used to.

And the hardest part? You’re doing everything “right.”

This is the space so many women live in, especially after big life changes, weight loss, or just getting older. 🥳

And it’s not about willpower. It’s usually a signal.

Because your metabolism, blood sugar, and hormones are all connected and when they’re not working together, you feel it in your everyday life.

That’s why I’ve been learning more about supporting my body in a more complete way, not just focusing on one piece, but how everything works as a system.

You’re not crazy for feeling this way. And you’re definitely not alone 🤍

✨ I’ll share what I’ve been trying + a code if you’re curious!

If I could go back, here are 10 things I’d do BEFORE I spiraled after weight loss surgery:

1. Stop calling every hard day “failure”
2. Create a simple protein rhythm
3. Track hydration before blaming myself
4. Build a non-food comfort list
5. Learn my emotional eating triggers
6. Prepare for stalls before they happen
7. Stop comparing my timeline to everyone else’s
8. Practice flexible consistency instead of perfection
9. Rebuild trust with myself one small promise at a time
10. Find community and support from people who actually get it

Because surgery changes your body, but your mindset, your habits, your support system, and the way you speak to yourself?

That’s what determines whether this becomes another “I failed again” story or the beginning of the life you actually came here to build.

👇 Save this if you’ve ever felt yourself slipping back into old patterns.

(And if you want to head directly to 10, comment MOTOR - oh so ugly in this video - and I’ll send you the link to my free masterclass!)

3 tools every post-op queen actually needs (that no one talks about):

1. A way to regulate your emotions
→ because willpower won’t fix emotional eating

2. A system for consistency
→ not motivation, but an system

3. Self-trust
→ because if you don’t trust yourself, nothing sticks

Notice what’s NOT on this list?
❌ perfect macros
❌ strict rules
❌ starting over every Monday

Because long-term success after surgery isn’t built on perfection.

It’s built on identity.

And these are the tools that shape it.

👇 Save this, you’ll need it on the hard days!

Six years ago, I made a decision that changed my life.

Not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and in ways I don’t think anyone fully prepares you for.

This past weekend, I was walking through New York City, going to a Broadway show, having afternoon tea, exploring with my daughter, and I had one of those quiet, full-circle moments.

Because this life? The one where I say yes to experiences, travel, joy, and being fully present?

I used to dream about it. And for a long time, I thought it required a “perfect” body.

It doesn’t.

It requires a healthy enough body and a mindset that allows you to actually LIVE in it.

That part, the mindset, is what most people don’t talk about after bariatric surgery.

And it’s exactly why I shared this week’s YouTube video.

Inside, I’m showing you the real, unfiltered version of life years later: the routines, the confidence, the non-scale victories, and the JOY that’s possible when you stay committed to yourself.

If you’re:
✨ Thinking about surgery
✨ Newly post-op
✨ Or years out and feeling a little stuck

I think this one will really speak to you.

You deserve a life that feels as good as it looks.

1 like. "What Life Looks Like 6 Years After Bariatric Surgery | NYC Family Vlog"

04/27/2026

This is what life looks like 6 years after bariatric surgery. Not just the weight loss. The walking for miles without thinking twice. The packing outfits I actually want to wear. The saying yes to experiences instead of sitting them out.

For me, this trip wasn’t just New York City. It was proof.

Proof that the life I used to dream about?

I’m living it.

And here’s the part I wish someone told me sooner: this didn’t happen because I was perfect. It happened because I stayed consistent and did the mindset work that made it sustainable.

👇 Save this if you’re still in the “will this be worth it?” phase (spoiler: it will!)

And I have a cute & fun long form FULL vlog up now. Comment TRAIN and I’ll send it your way!

I’m in my healing era.

Not my “perfect routine” era.
Not my “everything figured out” era. My healing era.

The one where I:
✨ choose joy without earning it
✨ stop waiting to feel “ready”
✨ actually LIVE in the body I fought for

Because for a long time, I thought weight loss surgery would be the finish line. Like one day I’d wake up and suddenly feel confident. Free. Happy.

But that’s not how it works.

The life you want? You have to choose it. Create it. Step into it BEFORE you feel fully ready.

And tomorrow’s YouTube video is a glimpse into what that looks like for me… 6 years later.

New York City. Joy. Moments I used to sit out.

👇 Save this as your reminder: your life doesn’t start “when.” It starts now.

At 41 years old, I brought my American Girl doll to tea in New York City. Her name is Samantha.

And yes, I carried her through the store like it was the most normal thing in the world. Because to me? It is.

But if you had told the younger version of me that this would be my life, she wouldn’t have believed you. She was too busy shrinking herself. Sitting out. Waiting until she felt “worthy enough” to fully live.

And that’s the part no one talks about after weight loss surgery. It’s not just about the weight you lose. It’s about the life you finally let yourself have.

The experiences.
The joy.
The play.
The “this might be silly but I’m doing it anyway.”

This wasn’t just tea. This was me parenting my inner child. Letting her take up space. Letting her have the moment. Letting her feel safe being seen.

Because she deserved that then. And she deserves it now. And maybe… you do too.

👇 Tell me, what’s something your younger self would be shocked you get to experience now?

04/23/2026

these are VERY niche but if you get it… you get it 🌊🏰🩵

You’re not “broken.” And it’s probably not just your hormones.

I see this so often, especially with women who are doing everything “right”: hitting their protein, staying hydrated, showing up for their routines, but still feeling off.

Low energy. Cravings that don’t make sense. Cycles that feel unpredictable.

Here’s what most people aren’t talking about:👉 your hormones don’t work in isolation.

Your metabolism, blood sugar, and inflammation all play a role in how your body feels day to day. So when one thing is off, it can throw everything out of sync.

That’s why I’ve been learning more about supporting the whole system, not just one piece of it. Because feeling like yourself again? It’s not about chasing a quick fix. It’s about giving your body the kind of support that actually makes sense long-term 🤍

If this resonates, you’re not alone and you’re not doing anything wrong. ✨ I’ll link what I’ve been using + a code if you’re curious!

After weight loss surgery, you don’t just lose weight. You lose the identity you’ve known for years. And no one really talks about what comes next.

For me?

It wasn’t about becoming a “better” version of myself. It was about rediscovering who I already was. The girl before the shame, the dieting, the shrinking.

And that didn’t happen through perfection. It happened through small, daily habits:
✨ Journaling instead of overthinking
✨ A dopamine menu instead of scrolling
✨ Asking “what do I need?” instead of ignoring myself

That’s how you rebuild self-trust. That’s how you create a life that actually feels good to live.

👇 Save this as a reminder: it’s not about doing more—it’s about coming home to yourself.
