My name is Melissa, or as many of my friends call me, Mel. I established this page with the hopes of finding a compatible match for the life-saving kidney transplant that I so desperately need. It's been 12 long years since I was told I'd need a new kidney and I am still searching for that match. Along the way I have come to meet many amazing people facing the very same challenge that I am; a massive shortage of organ donors for the increasing amount of people added to the already lengthy wait-list. With advances in modern medicine and paired exchange possibilities, your ability to help is even better than ever! If you don't match me, you may be able to spur off a chain of transplants resulting in many people receiving their gift of life!
