Aeternus Health

Aeternus Health Bio-Individual Wellness Strategies I will assist you in balancing the nodes in your network to create optimal outcomes. Eliminate the guess-work & gain clarity.

I use a complex systems approach to enhance performance. The human system is a complex system, each piece is dependent on its relationship with the other pieces. How much time and money have you spent doing things that you think are good for your health, without knowing for certain? How do you know that you actually need those supplements you’re taking or that your dietary preferences are in alignment with your body’s requirements? Say goodbye to trial and error. Allow me to introduce you to a revolutionary approach to wellness. Focused on Parameters of Health:
I trust in the body's innate intelligence. By correcting imbalances at the cellular level and creating an environment conducive to wellness, the body will naturally gravitate towards an optimal state of health. Systems Based Approach:
The human system is a complex system, each piece is dependent on its relationship with the other pieces. It is impossible to change a single part without changing the whole. I will assist you in balancing the nodes in your biological network to create exceptional outcomes. Next Generation Diagnostics:
Genomics is the study of all of a person's genes, including interactions of those genes with each other and with the person's environment. Metabolomics is the study of metabolites found within cells and biological systems and is representative of the functional state of a cell. I use both sets of data, for a comprehensive health assessment. Interventions Tailored to your Unique Biology:
Eliminate the guess work and doubt. There is no such thing as a one-size fits all approach to wellness. Implement a plan of action that is informed by your current cellular health and genetic blueprint. My recommendations are suited to your unique biological requirements so you can implement targeted strategies with confidence.

The cornerstone of optimal health

I consider the digestive system to be the most fundamental component of human health.

The state of the gastrointestinal system undoubtedly has far reaching effects on every other aspect of the human system.

Optimizing GI function must take priority when enhancing one’s health.

You may have heard the expression, “you are what you eat” and this is a valid statement as the building blocks that comprise your body, the calories that get turned into energy, and the micronutrients that facilitate chemical reactions in the body are all derived from your diet.

But more importantly, you are what you absorb.

You might be eating all the right things, but if your digestive system is working sub-optimally, you might not be reaping the full benefits of what you put into your body.

For this reason, fine tuning your gut should be a top priority.

I am stoked to begin offering a comprehensive evaluation of gastrointestinal function

A GI stool profile // (Say what?) //

That’s right, a clinical analysis of your s**t offers valuable insight into digestive function, intestinal inflammation, as well as the gastrointestinal microbiota.

The test is designed to identify potential root causes of digestive symptoms and even detect subtle insufficiencies of digestive processes.

It assists in providing targeted therapeutics that improve symptoms and overall gut health and uses multiple methodologies to provide the most clinically accurate assessment of bacteria, yeast, and parasites currently available on the market.

This data-driven, evidence-based analysis establishes a firm foundation from which to base clinical decisions and strategies.

So whether you are suffering from major or minor digestive symptoms or would simply like to ensure that your gut is in tip top shape so you can make the most of the foods and supplements you consume, I invite you to consider getting a stool profile.

This is the most powerful way to establish resilient health at a foundational level.

Some people might equate health with the absence of illness, but just because you’re not sick doesn’t necessarily mean you’re healthy.

Hear me out…

Illness manifests at the organ level of the body.

Organs are made up of tissues which are comprised of cells.

Cellular dysfunction compounds slowly over time, eventually manifesting as symptoms at the organ level and these symptoms alert us that something is out of balance and needs addressing.

But we have no subjective, anecdotal way of knowing about the current state of our cellular health.

You picking up on the inherent problem here?

In other words, our bodies do not exert symptoms until cellular damage accrues over time.

So, wouldn’t it be awesome if we can test for and manage the health of our cells as to balance things out long before illness has a chance to make itself evident?

This line of reasoning has led me to study the field of metabolomics.

But never mind the fancy terminology…

I am now offering the most comprehensive functional and nutritional assessment available.

It analyzes blood, urine and saliva samples, and uses various methodologies including intracellular, extracellular, direct, and functional measurements.

Each method has certain strengths and weaknesses. The testing I use combines all of these methods in order to determine personalized nutrient needs.

It is designed to help identify root causes of dysfunction and treat clinical imbalances that are inhibiting optimal health.

More specifically, It tests for:
Oxidative Stress
Antioxidant Status
Vitamins
Minerals
Toxic Elements
Essential Fatty Acids
Amino Acids
Neurotransmitters
And Much More…

In conclusion, balancing and maintaining optimal vitamin and mineral levels along with detecting and correcting deficiencies and toxicities is by far the most powerful way to establish resilient health at a foundational level.

Nutritional therapy is uniquely based on a foundational holistic approach to nutrition that honors the bio-individuality of our bodies. I usespecific tools for assessing the body’s nutritional deficiencies and correct imbalances using thoughtfully prepared whole foods, and lifestyle factors.

Nutritional Therapy is guided through the lens of the following five major foundations of health:

Digestion and Elimination
You are what you absorb
Eating a nutrient dense diet is essential, but you must actually absorb the nutrients you eat to benefit from them.

Blood Sugar Regulation
What goes up, must come down
Stable blood sugar levels provide consistent energy, enable metabolic flexibility, and reduce stress on the body.

Fatty Acids
Most fats are your friends
Healthy fats are required for stable energy, optimal brain function, hormone balance, and satiety.

Mineral Balance
Minerlas = The body’s spark plugs
Minerals help build bones and lends a helping hand in balancing hormones and many other key body processes.

Hydration
Water is Life. Life is Water
Water is the most important nutrient. It’s required for numerous body processes and makes up 60% of the human body.

Nutrition
Real food builds real health
A diet rich in nutrient-dense, properly prepared, whole foods is the ultimate foundation of optimal health.

Upgrade your health using this 1 simple strategy!

This is some serious low hanging fruit. (Hold up a second... That might not be the best metaphor, because you don’t really want to eat the proverbial fruit)

I’m talking about intermittent fasting otherwise known as time restricted eating.

The scientific literature on its benefits are robust and has been shown to extend lifespan, reduce inflammation, promote brain health, prevent cancer, facilitate weight loss, increase growth hormone, encourage cellular repair, improve insulin sensitivity and optimize genetic expression.

Fasting has been a practice throughout human evolution. Ancient hunter-gatherers didn’t have supermarkets, refrigerators or food available year-round. In fact, sometimes they couldn’t find anything to eat at all. As a result, we actually evolved to gain massive benefits from not eating all the damn time.

A great place to start is with the 16/8 method: it involves skipping breakfast and restricting your daily eating period to 8 hours. Then you fast for 16 hours in between.

As your body becomes more adjusted, you can restrict your eating window even further.

So give it a try... I mean, what do you have to lose? (Aside from a little extra unwanted body weight, inflammation, a few cancerous cells, and the daily chore of cooking breakfast every morning)

Thanks for watching!
