Meet the amazing women who are helping support our gathering! 🦋

Jenna Barnes is the kitchen goddess helping feed and nourish us.

Jenna Barnes is a culinary:creatrix, holistic chef, and herbalist using all things wild and delicious. She gathers ingredients from the woods, gardens and farms to weave those with medicinal plants + flavors from her travels. Using the cosmos as her muse, she intuitively crafts vibrant food + libations that deeply nourish the body and uplift the spirit. She dances in the kitchen and sings into the soup-pot.

Jenna offers retreat chef services, custom herbal tea blends, ceremonial cakes and monthly plant devotionals.

Meet the amazing women who are helping support our gathering! 🦋

DebInanna will be one of the first to greet you at registration where you’ll learn about where to camp and where things are located at the gathering. You will receive your Red Earth mug! You can also buy tickets for our fundraiser drawing - not to be missed!

DebInanna has been interested in herbalism since 1994, when she attended the Rocky Mountain School for Botanical Studies in 1994 and then studied with Susun W**d in 1995.

Over the years she has taught didactic and hands on herbal classes out of her home and backyard herbal garden. She loves to help people discover how to make medicines for themselves.

She has also been an RN since 1978, and a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2007. She loves to be able to offer my patients herbal remedies for some of their medical issues instead of or in addition to Western medicine.

DebInanna calls herself a “Pufi,” a pagan/Sufi, and has also taken classes in Shamanism. In addition to gardening she loves music, traveling, dancing and singing.

Red Earth is a sacred ceremonial container created by and for women to honor and activate our inherent life-nurturing power. We gather together to learn from and inspire each other through ceremony, workshops, deep healing and community building. By recognizing the beauty and power of what it is to be women doing our sacred work, our life’s calling, we step into our collective potential to support the great turning of our planet at this time.

Greetings women,

Blessed dark moon and blessed Herbalist’s Day! It is so fun to be planting metaphorical seeds with the dark moon and also literal seeds into our gardens! Even as the season starts to feel busier and the days are longer and more expansive, do remember to do your dark moon ceremonies. Light a candle, sing a song, and set your intention. The most powerful rituals are the most simple.

This is our 10th Red Earth, and our 4th year at the amazing 13 Moons Ranch. Part the veils and step over the threshold into sacred space. The Red Tent, also known as a moonlodge, is where women gather apart from the day-to-day chores of the community to share and receive wisdom. In offering this space, we do not necessarily seek to recreate the traditions of other times/cultures, rather we seek to create space within our present reality to honor the sanctity of womon’s experience of menarche, menstruation, and menopause. All women, no matter where on their menstrual or life cycle are welcome!

Such a gift to see the Red Tent through women’s eyes. Especially through the woman helping hold this space for our gathering. We are so grateful for you, Nikki!

Meet EagleSong Gardener 🌸

EagleSong Gardener dances her mischief in the hedge, that luminous place between wild and tended. A lifelong gardener, she has designed, managed and tended high visibility kitchen gardens and farms, commercial gardens, herb gardens & nurseries. Today, she enjoys teaching herbs from the ground up and engaging woman spirit wherever she is called. You can find her at eaglesong-gardener.com

✨ Coming Home: A Ritual Celebration: 6 hour Pre-Conference Workshop, Adults, All Levels
Our Earth is calling maiden, mother & crone to gather, to ground, to enliven and celebrate our connection with her, ourselves and one another. Enter the doorway to the mother’s heart, receive her powerful energies that align us with our dreams and potential.

✨ Light Root: A Bridge Over the Abyss?: 1.5 hour, Adults, All Levels
By 2030, more than 1.2 billion women will be in menopause or post-menopause. Instead of accepting the narrative of decline, we can reclaim this phase as a source of power and renewal. As the Chinese say, a second spring for ourselves...for the earth. Make your pause your medicine. Could wild yam Light Root become an herbal ally on your journey?

✨ Salt Works: You Gotta Love It!: 1.5 hour, Adults, All Levels
Table salt, sea salt, black salt, pink salt! Let’s explore salt in all her guises and ancient history.

✨ Plant Detectives! A Scavenger Hunt!: 30 minutes, Kids
Grab a basket and let’s go on an herbal treasure hunt! We’ll look for sweet scents, tasty morsels, colorful flowers, healing herbs.

✨ Wise Woman Panel: 1 hour
Join our amazing Wise Women teachers as they answer and discuss questions from the audience.

Join us on May 7th from 7-8pm MST for a wonderful hour on “Amazing Artemesias” with Susun W**d:

Artemis, the Virgin, joins hands with the crone. Let her take you over the moon. Let her aroma transport you. Make space for her delightful wisdom. She’s grand, a little bitter, but full of surprises, dreams, and healing. With story, song, and sixty years of experience, Susun will share her love of this worldwide weedy survivor.

This online pre-conference is only $20 to attend. It will help us to dive deep with Artemis and Artemesia, come together through songs and stories, and start our journey into this year’s 10th anniversary gathering.

We are happy to announce an ONLINE pre conference class, Amazing Artemesias, for you all with Susun W**d. This online pre-conference is only $20 to attend! Dive deep with Artemis and Artemesia, come together through songs and stories, and start your journey into this year’s special 10th anniversary gathering.

We have 2026 merch on sale! We are featuring the incredible art of SarahKate Butterworth again this year.

If you haven’t seen the offerings for the in person pre-conference, check those classes out here. Please note that food and camping are included in those ticket prices! Also, the pre-conference is an add-on ticket for the main gathering.

Earlybird tickets are still on sale, and we have some scholarships available for 2026.
