EnCompass Behavioral Health is hiring a behavior Specialist / RBT in Irvine, CA. We can provide the training to become an RBT. The hours can be flexible between 3:00pm-8:00pm on weekdays and 3-4 hours on the weekends (18 hours total - can be split among 2 RBTS). Supervision towards BCBA hours can be provided. We encourage room to grow within the agency and your career.

EnCompass Behavioral Health is currently accepting new in-home ABA clients. We do not have a waitlist in Clovis/Fresno, Lake Elsinore, and San Diego. We accept a variety of insurances and are a San Diego Regional center vendor. We look forward to supporting individuals of all ages - toddlers through adulthood.

-Provide direct behavioral services to clients in individual and group sessions
-Run skill acquisition programs with clients using Applied Behavior Analysis and Verbal Behavior Analysis
-Complete weekly program writing and maintain client’s program book (if not utilizing EHR)
Work with Board Certified Behavior Analysts and/or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts to implement individualized treatment plans
Collect data and graph data as instructed using technological programs, such as Microsoft Excel or behavioral software (e.g., ReThink)
Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
-Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies
-Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and when emergency crisis situations arise
-Other job duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Clinical Director of ABA or another supervisor

Additional Job Requirements:
-CPI (Crisis Intervention Training) program course offered by the agency and renew certification annually
First Aid/CPR/AED training provided by the agency and renew certifications as needed
-Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) Training
HIPAA/HITECH/FERPA Training
-Use of data collection and portfolio apps, such as ReThink
-A 40-hour training by our agency on Applied Behavior Analysis that is based upon the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s Registered Behavioral Interventionist Task List, successfully complete the Registered Behavioral Interventionist Competency
-Assessment, and pass the RBT examination to become a Registered Behavior Interventionist (RBT).

We are skilled with working with individuals that have co-occurring mental health diagnosis and ID/DD. We are able to provide services in-home, group homes, and treatment facilities.
