Who wouldn’t want to rent a fun convertible and cruise around LA for a weekend? What a fun trip (and a much needed break). Some highlights were Malibu farm, Point Dume in Malibu, did I mention Malibu lol, the delicious food at gjelina, rose cafe and sushi park, runs on the pier with my boo, reconnecting with an old friend and checking out the east side which seems to be the Brooklyn of LA…

Thank you for the beautiful summer memories, 🤍. Not pictured are the constant toddler messes we had to clean up, the tantrums (toddlers are so emotional), and not having a nanny for most of this time. Ahhh it’s good to be back in Brooklyn if you know what I mean 😜. Even though being a mom of twin toddler boys is a lot LOT lot of work, I try to be grateful every day for these two little people. I posted at the beginning of the summer about my workout routine and I’ll keep it real, I had to make compromises this summer due to lack of help. But it’s good to flow with it and not be too rigid. At the end of the day you need to be there to relax and enjoy these precious moments with your hubby and littles… it’s more important than working out every single day. Now on to the next adventures…Autumn trips 🍁, Forrest school & soccer for the kids…. And some exciting new work projects that we have up our sleeves ….

I’m so happy to be out of the city for the rest of the summer with my little crew. We went to dinner last night with the kids and kept them up after bedtime and we all had so much fun. If you were a fellow twin mom you would be looking at me perplexed because twin moms really need to live and die by a schedule if there will be any order in your life! I’m finding that As they get older they become cool little guys who like to do the same things we like to do! Like hit the beach and party and eat good food and enjoy good virgin cocktails 🌞🌊💛💛

Many moons ago, when I first met I knew that he would be an amazing father. This was a huge priority in a partner because I’ve always felt that I’m meant to be a mother. I just knew that Phillip would be funny and open hearted and big picture with our future kids. All of that and more has happened with the unique little individuals we have created. I am so grateful that my kids have a dad who is so fun and unique and kind to them. There is no one else who could compare to you …and the bar is high because let’s face it… anyone who knows my dad knows that he was a legend. So Phillip, happy Father’s Day. I love you so much and can’t wait to continue to watch these boys grow with you ❤️❤️

Marianne Williamson, A Woman's Worth Im not one for quotes on instagram usually, but this line really resonated with me when I read this book recently. We are wives and mothers and we embody the archetype of queen. The queen has virtue. She is wise and has clear vision, and she rules with ❤️.

As the boys get out of the baby phase and into the toddler phase it’s much easier for me. We can skip the nap, maybe the lunch every day this week on vacation involves bread or pasta, we can let go some. They are healthy and good at entertaining themselves by playing with us and each other. Having twin babies is a crazy circus I don’t think you can even comprehend until you’re in it, trying to figure it out. But this new phase is just so awesome.
