CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program. We have designed our program to elicit as broad an adaptational response as possible. CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains. They are Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. The CrossFit Program was developed to enhance an individual’s competency at all physical tasks. Our athletes are trained to perform successfully at multiple, diverse, and randomized physical challenges. Absolutely anyone from grandparents to elite athletes! Anyone who wants to perform acts of daily living with healthy body movements and get into great shape while doing it! We have a true sense of community with an absolutely fun and supportive group of people who all workout together and urge each other on daily. What we offer at Carroll CrossFit:
Everyone starts with a Fundamentals Class. This includes 6 one on one half our personal training sessions:
- 7 point fitness assessment to give a baseline of starting fitness. These are performed free at the end of each quarter.
- 4 technique sessions learning most of the basic movements of CrossFit that will be used in class
- A nutrition session learning the basics of the Zone nutrition program.

All gave some. Some gave all. But we thank them all for their service.

What have you done for your health lately? How about some free exercise? It’s all bodyweight geared movements to fit any fitness level from beginner to advanced. And the best part, it’s an awesome group of people to get through the movements with. Starts at 8 AM tomorrow so be early to warm up so you have plenty of time to talk with all the familiar faces you’ll see.

Functional & Fit over 40
Do you have a parent, family member or are you yourself struggling with balance issues? Flexibility, like trying to get your shoes and socks on or getting up from a chair. Strength issues like getting up and down steps or even carrying your own groceries.
Well, then I have the class for you. It meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 7 AM. It’s 30 minutes and full of people just like you. All the workouts are lower intensity and geared around body weight and dumbbell weight type movements that functionally carryover to every day life. Get up and down off the floor playing with grandkids easier. Take care of your house and yard yourself. Eliminate your fear of falling. Message me if you are interested yourself or share this with someone else who might be in need of gaining some functional fitness.
