CrossFit is a core strength and conditioning program. We have designed our program to elicit as broad an adaptational response as possible. CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains. They are Cardiovascular and Respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. The CrossFit Program was developed to enhance an individual’s competency at all physical tasks. Our athletes are trained to perform successfully at multiple, diverse, and randomized physical challenges. Absolutely anyone from grandparents to elite athletes! Anyone who wants to perform acts of daily living with healthy body movements and get into great shape while doing it! We have a true sense of community with an absolutely fun and supportive group of people who all workout together and urge each other on daily. What we offer at Carroll CrossFit:
Everyone starts with a Fundamentals Class. This includes 6 one on one half our personal training sessions:
- 7 point fitness assessment to give a baseline of starting fitness. These are performed free at the end of each quarter.
- 4 technique sessions learning most of the basic movements of CrossFit that will be used in class
- A nutrition session learning the basics of the Zone nutrition program.

Attention parents. Do you have a child that needs to stay active between Sports, get ready for a sport or just find some fitness to be able to keep up with their peers?
I have three openings in my Monday/Wednesday after school kids class. Class runs from four to 4:45 PM. This is for third through eighth grade kids. It is month-to-month so no long-term commitments. We work on agility, confidence, coordination, strength, power, and speed. We mainly use body weight, endurance, training, and dumbbell movements, but incorporate basic barbell movements that kids will see in the junior high and high school weight room. Classes are kept small for more individual attention. Message me or call 712-790-9235.

I don’t post this stuff very often, but I was pretty happy with this one. Hit 145 # on a power sn**ch this morning. Not the prettiest but First time in probably 10 years. Age is just a number.

I am officially signed up. And and I’m using this event to see who the fittest In Carroll is. Do these three workouts(1/week) for a score and we will find out just that. But you have to be registered($21.42) Anybody in Carroll County is welcome to join us for the workouts for free to prove their fitness. If you register, I will give you a free T-shirt.
