Congratulations to the Center’s Assistant Director and Co-Lead of Resilient West Sarah Gross on being named as a 2025 Times Georgian 20 under 40 recipient. There are hundreds of people who make our community better, but some young people in our area stand out. The achievements, drive, and commitment of these individuals make them people to watch. Congratulations, Sarah and thank you for all you do for the University of West Georgia and our community. Well earned!

We’re excited to invite you to our Summer Safety Class on Saturday, May 17th from 10 AM–1 PM! ☀️🛟 This free, hands-on event is all about helping you keep your kids safe this summer.

The UWG Center for Integrative Wellness will lead a CPR demonstration, and Love Can Build a Briggs will share important tips on choosing the right flotation devices for your little ones.

Come learn, ask questions, and leave feeling more confident and prepared for the summer!
