We are so happy to introduce the launch of 2 new offerings at to take place inside the cozy Bloom House Café starting November 2nd.
First, a Fiber Arts Group gathering- Sundays from 3:30-4:30. This is for anyone who crochets, knits, sews, embroiders, or does any other fiber related artistry. Use this time to gather together, share tips and techniques, talk about the craft, and get to know your community. This is free.
Second, a crochet class tailored for beginners. From 2-3 on Sundays. Students will start out learning the most used basic stitches, tension, how to read a pattern, and so on, finishing with making their very own beanie. Each hour long class session is $10. Your will need to purchase the starter kit ($10) that includes: enough yarn for a beanie, a crochet hook, needle, scissors, stitch markers, and the printed beanie pattern. Maximum capacity for the class is 10 people, so please message to sign up, as spots will fill quickly. If you pay for 10 classes up front you will get the kit for free.
Bloom House Café is a cute little store and small café located inside Waterfall Sanctuary Campground and Retreat Center located in Carson, Wa (simply put Waterfall Sanctuary into Goggle Maps and it'll show you how to get here). From October- May, the café will be open Saturdays and Sundays only from 9AM- 4:30PM, weather allowing. There is also an amazing wood fired sauna available for public use and trails on the property you can walk along for an easy and peaceful moment in nature, then come inside the café for coffee, tea, and pastries to relax and warm up.
