Where Winter Starts — Right in the Soil 🌱❄️
While most of Colorado settles under a quiet blanket of snow this time of year, the farms that grew every Fat Flower harvest are still very much a part of the season. Winter is when the fields rest, when the soil resets, and when all the care that went into the year’s work really shows.
Some people are surprised to learn how much intention goes into small-batch farming — the hand-tending, the soil health, the careful timing of each stage. But for us, this slow, thoughtful way of growing is what keeps the plants strong, the process honest, and the final result something we’re truly proud of.
