He graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University - Medical College of Virginia in 1997 with his M.D. degree. He completed his post-graduate medical education with Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Family Medicine. He is board certified in Family Medicine and in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. The core of his practice philosophy has always been centered around building a relationship with the person right in front of him. He wants to work hard to make everyone comfortable in their personal health care and be educated about their options.
