Advocacy is a huge part of helping those who have suffer any type of Domestic violence/sexual assault, Hate Crimes, PTSD, ect. My objective is to build a safe haven that is a long term rehabilitation program to help those re-integrate into society, as well as offering a safe place to interact and gain necessary skills. A traumatic experience can leave one feeling hollow inferior, worthless, and struggling to function. Leaving them in crisis mode, struggling to cope with life on a daily basis. Struggling to accept people, love, or trust. It could lead to other unhealthy choices. We need to help our country, we need to support one another. This is NOT a hand out. This is GIVING BACK, what they lost. Teaching them the skills they NEED to be a successful individual in this world! No one chooses to be abused on any level, we all take risks. I believe, because I have seen it. Giving people compassion, support, and acknowledgment allows them to move mountains. I'm done seeing this world, especially OUR country so broken!
