**ANNOUNCEMENT**

After serving the Southern Illinois community for 34 years, Dr Sajjan K Nemani, MD announces the closing of his Centralia and Salem locations effective January 31, 2024.

Through January 31, 2024, medical records requests can be made by either calling 618-533-8700, via fax 618-533-8701 or by mail request to 1054 M.L. King Drive Suite 124, Centralia, IL.

After February 1st, 2024, further appointments for continuing sleep and neurology services can be made by calling SSM Good Samaritan Sleep and Neurology Department at 618-899-3640. Medical record requests can be made by calling 618-899-3640, via fax 618-899-4550 or by mail to 2 Good Samaritan drive, Suite 400, Mt. Vernon, IL 62880.

We are excited for Dr. Nemani to begin a new professional chapter, and we thank you for the opportunity to serve you.

Private Neurology practice seeking full-time Medical Assistant.

Role will include the following duties but not limited to:

Assist providers with patient care as directed and within the scope of his/her educational preparation, knowledge, and permitted by the policies and procedures of the practice.
Coordinate care as directed.
Generate prior authorizations
Perform front desk duties including greet, register and process patients for appointments
Collect co-payments and post office visit charges
Answer phones and direct calls as necessary
Communicate information clearly to patients, family and staff.
Location of travel Mt. Vernon, Salem, Flora, Effingham and Centralia

Medical Assistant: 1- 3 years (Preferred)
