Happy Veterans Day!
Grandpa Lincoln was 20 when he was drafted into the army for WWII & shipped to Casablanca. He said when he landed there on March 9th the orange trees were in bloom. It was the first time he had ever smelled orange blossoms. The older my grandpa got the more he wanted to share his experiences in WWII. He was an amazing man and I am grateful he was my grandpa. 💜

His experience in WWII is recorded through the Veterans Legacy Project under “Edwin (Abe) Lincoln” and is available on Kindle.

My Dad served in the air force and is pictured in the last image at my parents wedding. 💙

May our politicians be wise & grounded - honoring and respecting the lives & families of the individuals who give them power.
