The CARE Team helps to connect individuals to services, treatment and other opportunities that best meet their needs. Areas we can help :
- SUD related response and follow-up
- Mental Health response and follow-up
- Outreach to unsheltered / vulnerable individuals
- Connection to appropriate services / treatment opportunities (Ie: SUD treatment, MH treatment, reunification, diversion / deferment, narcan training / distribution, legal documents

Warming Centers extended through February 8th.
Open 7p-7a at the The Neighborhood SHOP—Showers + Healthcare Outreach Program in the GYM. Entrance on Jarrett Court.

The Centralized Assessment Team will be open 7a-7p daily until February 8th.

Edit to add days: Warming Centers will be open Monday and Tuesday nights, Janaury 19&20. CAT Office will open at 7am on Tuesday and Wednesday

And as a reminder - Warming Centers are for ANYONE who needs a warm place to be. If you are experiencing homelessness, or if you just need a warm place for any reason, come see us. We are going to ask you your name (we want to call you something), and if there is anything we can help you with besides a warm place to be.
Secondly, people are allowed to come and go at the warming center. People do not need to be there when it opens, and it is not mandatory that someone stays all night.
Everyone involved with the planning, implementation, services, and funding of the warming centers just want everyone to remain safe.

Also, the Centralized Assessment (CAT) office will be open from 7a-7p on Thursday January 15, and will open at 7a on Friday morning.

This Friday, Live on the Levee (presented by Moses Auto Group) is bigger than ever—and the Back-to-School Kid Zone is FREE!

Located on Kanawha Boulevard between Laidley Street and Court Street, the Kid Zone will be packed with inflatables, a foam machine, face painting, tasty treats, games, giveaways, and everything you need to get ready for the school year.

Mission Statement

The QRT seeks to reduce the number of overdoses and increase the number of individuals enrolled in treatment by assessing needs and providing treatment options and resources to individuals struggling with substance misuse in Charleston, WV.
