Dear Rowan Health and Wellness Patients,
RHW is definitively ending our Community Connect partnership with Novant Health, effective immediately. We will no longer be using Epic or MyChart.
We remain committed to providing you with the highest quality of care, and this transition is a step forward toward our mission and strengthens our identity as an independent clinic. We are almost fully transitioned from Epic to our new Electronic Medical Record (EMR), eClinicalWorks.
Four years ago, we opened our doors as an independent primary care clinic with a mission to provide high quality, personalized care.
As we approach our 4th birthday, we reflect on our journey and the trust you have placed in us, we are incredibly humbled and grateful for each of you. Your referrals of family and friends have helped our practice grow quickly, and we couldn't be more thankful.
Here's what you need to know:
1. A New Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System and Patient Portal
Our new system will use the Healow app and patient portal, which will replace MyChart. We will share instructions for how to set this up soon; the instructions will be sent via email and posted on our page and on our website.
2. A New Lab Partner
We are also switching our laboratory services from LabCorp to Quest Diagnostics. We believe this partnership will provide faster, more affordable and more reliable lab services for our patients.
What to expect during the transition:
Scheduling: During this short transition period, online scheduling will be temporarily unavailable. To schedule an appointment, request medication refills, or for any other concerns, please call our office directly at 980-330-7103. We will notify everyone once online scheduling is available. We will continue to have appointments available daily for sudden illness and urgent concerns; these can be scheduled by simply calling the office.
Your Records are Secure: Please be assured that all of your medical records and health information are being securely transferred to the new system.
We are working diligently to ensure a seamless transition with minimal disruption to your care. Our RHW team is undergoing extensive training to get up to speed quickly.
