👋🏽Hopefully you got a chance to check my Stories out yesterday to see what I’ve been up to in my absence. ⁣
⁣
If you didn’t, then the answer is short and sweet, grieving. I’ve been grieving🥺. ⁣
⁣
I know that the hustle hard, get it done culture is motivating and even sometimes inspiring AND I’m sure looked down on my actions. ⁣
⁣
Let me tell you that that same culture is a very toxic way to look at life when you’re grieving. ⁣
⁣
While Sass’ trajectory and goal hitting was something IMO, out of this world, I chose to choose a reset, my family and most importantly my mental health. ⁣
⁣
Instead of following the crowd👩🏽‍🦯, I took a step back and allowed myself space to grieve and hopefully will give other business owners the opportunity and permission to do so as well. ⁣
⁣
Am I 💯❓ ⁣
⁣
Absolutely not 🙅🏽‍♀️because grieving is a journey. It’s small moments of feeling more at times and readjusting to a new way of being. ⁣
⁣
While the road will continue on this journey, I am ready to hop back in the saddle and move forward feeling more balanced and restored. 💆🏽‍♀️⁣
⁣
Thank you for loving on me. Checking on me. Having compassion for my absence. 🫶🏽⁣
⁣
Now I can truly say I am an Advocate for Self Care and truly lead by example. 💁🏽‍♀️⁣
