The Intuitive Dietitian

The Intuitive Dietitian https://www.theintuitivedietitian.com/ Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and RDN Hi! I am Kristen Bunich MA RD LDN of The Intuitive Dietitian.

I utilize individualized nutrition therapy to rebuild a client's relationship with food and their bodies through internal motivators. This is a more holistic approach- we will navigate the 'whole you' not just the symptoms. I specialize in disordered eating therapy and clients suffering from chronic dieting and GI symptoms but as a Registered Dietitian I'm capable of medical nutrition needs. My clients find solutions for their own food and diet cycling behaviors in a nutrition therapy practice that is manageable and realistic. I have a weight-inclusive approach and firmly believe that ALL bodies should receive the best care. Together we can find more balance and heal your relationship with food and yourself.

Sometimes happiness isn’t something we chase- it’s something we slow down enough to notice. ✨

When we’re constantly rushing, our brains stop registering the small joys that actually keep us grounded: a warm mug, a deep breath, a meal, or a meal that tastes really comforting. ☕️

Learning to pause, even for 30 seconds, tells the body it’s safe to relax. Over time, those tiny pauses add up to less stress, more breath and yes… more joy in eating. ❤️

Pumpkin isn’t just for pie and lattes! 🎃

This versatile fruit (you heard me!) is packed with nutrients. Now is the season to add in some pumpkin in some new, fun ways.

👩‍🍳Whip up this pumpkin dip that’s savory and creamy. A perfect snack with some veggies, crackers or pita.

Pumpkin Bean Dip

1/2 lemon, juiced, zested
2 Tbsp tahini
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 1/2 cups white beans, drained
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 1/2 cups pumpkin purée
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1:2 tsp salt
1 tsp chopped fresh sage
2 tbsp pumpkin seeds

Directions: 1) Add everything except the seeds to a food processor and blend until smooth. Add water to thin, if needed.
2) Let it sit for 15 minutes for the flavors to develop.
3) Top with pumpkin seeds and serve with fresh veggies or crackers.

🧡Sabe this recipe for later or tag your pumpkin obsessed friend.
