When Brenda first walked through our doors, she rarely said a word. Today, she is standing at the front of the room teaching.

We are beyond proud to share that Brenda, one of our incredible Day Program participants, recently led her very first jewelry-making class, guiding her peers through creating necklaces, bracelets, and earrings from scratch. She made sure everyone could participate, no matter their skill level, and every single person walked away with something beautiful they made with their own hands.

She had never taught anyone before. But she was willing to try. And she exceeded every expectation.

This is what growth looks like. This is what community looks like.

Thank you Brenda for sharing your gift with us. We are so proud of you! 💚

Congratulations to this year’s Abound Health Promise Scholarship recipients: Grace Brown, Sylvia Bryant, Meosha Mason, and Linda Shannon! 🎉

The Promise Scholarship celebrates team members who are dedicated to learning and service, reflecting our shared commitment to growth, advocacy, and meaningful support for others.

Meet two of our incredible recipients featured here:
✨Grace Brown is a DSP and she is pursuing her master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. With the help of the Promise Scholarship, she’s able to focus fully on her studies and her goal of providing the best care possible for future clients.
✨Sylvia Bryant, a mom of three, AFL provider, and full-time team member, is completing her associate degree in Human Services. The scholarship helps ease financial pressure as she continues her journey to advocate for individuals with IDD.

It's our privilege to support our team members as they continue their careers in the world of IDD services and support!

Happy Autism Awareness Day from Abound Health! In honor of all the incredible humans with Autism, we're celebrating one of our very own. Meet Michael Wayne O'Neill, a college graduate, journalist, volunteer, and disability advocate. He recently returned from Washington, D.C., where he spoke at the Disability Policy Seminar, engaging with legislators and fellow advocates.

Your voice and advocacy remind us how important it is to listen, learn, and create a more inclusive world for everyone.
