We are hoping the power will be restored for afternoon patients, but we’re waiting for Duke Energy to restore the power. Hiring immediately! 40 hours per week. Receptionist will check in patients, verify health insurance, collect copays, collect and enter new patient forms into electronic medical record, schedule appointments, etc. Position is at our Blakeney/South Charlotte office with travel to our Baldwin Ave office 1-2 times per week. (paid mileage to satellite offices). Fast paced environment with possibility to grow.

Must be able to start immediately and have reliable transportation. Office is not located on a public transportation route. Minimum of 1 year experience in health care or health insurance.

Full health insurance with employee’s premium paid by the company plus $500 in a HRA. Optional dental, life, accident, cancer and hospital confinement insurance available. Paid holidays, paid training, paid mileage, 3 weeks PTO, education reimbursement, 401k.

Pediatric specialist office, we don’t treat COVID-19 patients due to the nature of our specialty. Masks are required and full COVID-19 vaccine series must be completed before start date.

Baldwin Ave is being re-paved the week of 5/9/22 - 5/13/22. If you have an appointment at the Baldwin office, please make sure to park in our parking lot or on Ranlo Ave. The construction company said any cars on Baldwin will be towed to the nearest side street.

About Us

Children’s Urology of the Carolinas is a private practice that was started by Dr. Luis M. Perez in 2002. Since then, the practice has grown to include four locations in Uptown Charlotte, South Charlotte, Kannapolis and Salisbury. Dr. Winifred Owumi joined our practice in 2015 and sees patients in both Charlotte locations.

Our board certified physicians are committed to providing personal and individualized pediatric, adolescent, and reconstructive urological care. We pride ourselves in a high level of integrity and availability. Both physicians have privileges at Novant and Atrium facilities. They provide 24-hour emergency call service to our patients 7 days a week.
