LISTEN UP! Special congrat to my son Ross who ran a personal best 5000 meter time of 15.05.43 at the 49er track meet held at UNCC this past Friday. So glad his dad, brother and I were there to see this accomplishment.

LISTEN UP! If you missed John Crisp's article in the Salisbury Post Wednesday titled "Ear buds' hearing-loss risks fall on deaf ears" you need to pull that issue out of the recycling bin and read it. Please encourage the young people in your life to turn down the music. Good hearing is a precious gift we need not destroy!

We were invited to speak to the Rowan Dental Hygenists Tuesday night. A group of 20 with a great prospective on how to better interact with their patients that have hearing problems. If you need a speaker for your group, let us know.

The senior lunch group at John Calvin Presbyterian Church invited us to come back again this year and speak to the group. Yesterday we talked about ways to protect our ears and hearing.
If your group is looking for presentors, we are happy to come talk about hearing, hearing loss, hearing aids, etc. Let us know how we can help.

Many years ago a patient by the name of Mildred Alexander gave me a Lenten Rose which I planted in my yard. Mildred is no longer with us but her memory lives on...her rose is now blooming.

What a wonderful place to live...went outside Sunday afternoon and 2 bald eagles were effortlessly circling overhead. A beautiful sight indeed.

Started doing audiometric evaluations for Dr. Whitaker. As a result, I will be testing more babies than I have been. We are in need of a good strong easy to work with High Chair. If you have one you are no longer using, we would be interested in making use of it. Please let us know. thanks

LISTEN UP! I am proud to announce that my son Ross has just been selected to the Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic Team. Not only is he a fast runner but more importantly a good student with a 3.379 GPA as a chemistry major. Very pleased!
