lets get really real.

i looooove what my body has accomplished. Ive played basketball, soccer, ran track, run i dont know how many 5/8k’s, lifted weights for years, birthed children, rebounded from heartbreak, survived car accidents….i could go on.

but i have NOT loved this version of my body. i havent felt strong, sexy, or whatever. i wasnt exercising consistently or taking care of myself. TWO WHOLE WEEKS ago i woke up. i literally woke ip our of bed like “BIIIIII YOU ARE THE BADDEST MF YOU KNOW! ACT LIKE IT!!”

so here i am showing up for this baaaaad mama everyday.

I have watched BOTH of my boys suffer the debilitating effects of childhood anxiety. Daily stomach aches, headaches, difficulty sleeping, lack of focus…I could go on. Moreso, I have one kid struggling academically. When I realized what was happening, I had to do something. Watching them suffer was not going to continue. I started my research, went back to my textbooks and got serious about healing.

Fast-forward to now: We have tools. We have resources. We have solutions. What I also realized is that we were not alone. I made it my business to get this formatted so other parents could have a grab-and-go tool.

This is a work from the heart. Mamas and Papas, I have cried knowing my sons aren’t feeling their best. And all I’ve wanted is for them to ‘okay’. We aren’t all the way there, but everyday we are making decisions to get closer and closer to that sweet spot.
