We are seeking an Outpatient Therapist focused on supporting LGBT youth/families to join our team! Our practice employs a W2 model and at this time part and full time applicants are being considered.

Rooted Therapy is a private mental health practice that over the last decade has built a reputation as a safe space for trauma healing and growth within the LGBT community. Our mission is to empower transformation and healing through the process of embodying one's most authentic and integrated self.

Our approach requires providers that are self-motivated and align with our workplace culture that emphasizes therapeutic collaboration, celebration of diversity, and community healing. Our ideal provider is dedicated to doing ongoing personal work and is comfortable working with complex cases.

Our practice model includes advanced supervision and a treatment team approach to support interdisciplinary medical transition care and address systems related minority stress issues experienced by the trans community. Culturally sensitive intergenerational interventions to strengthen the parent-child relationship are a cornerstone of this role. Our ideal psychotherapist has a passion for addressing trauma from mind-body, attachment, and systems lenses that tap into the art of creative healing work.

Responsibilities:
Full time providers are expected to manage a caseload including an average of 25 clients a week and to coordinate care with interdisciplinary providers and family members.

Qualifications:
Full or Provisional Licensure as a psychotherapist in the state of NC and/or SC. (LCMHC/LCSW/LMFT/LPC/LISW or equivalent)
