Gorgeous, gorgeous girls listen up ✨

As an esthetician who has personally struggled with acne and the mental distress that it can bring, nothing causes me more anxiety than all of the false misconceptions people make about having acne.

People sometimes assume the cause of your acne stems from being unhygienic, having an unhealthy diet, or whatever their self-incriminating thoughts may inflict.

But when it comes to suffering from acne, it is not one size fits all.

The truth is, your imperfections are what make you unique and BEAUTIFUL.

🦋 Don’t believe everything you see on social media. Edited and filtered photos don’t define what real beauty looks like. Real, healthy skin can have flaws and still be beautiful.

🦋 Define Your Own Beauty. Make a list of the things you see in yourself that make you beautiful and let these things become your new definition of beauty.

🦋 Seek out professional advice. I always tell clients, the most effective and fastest way to heal your acne is by seeing a professional that will take the guesswork out of your journey and help guide you on your specific path to clear skin. Never be afraid to ask for help.

I noticed I gained quite a few new followers over the last few weeks, so I wanted to take some time to re-introduce myself & say hello!

I’m Shara, a Licensed Esthetician & Skin Expert ✨

I was born & raised in a little town in Ohio, & decided to pack my things and relocate to Charlotte, NC 7 years ago to pursue my dream of starting my very own skincare practice, Skin By Shara Aesthetics 🦋
