Therapeutic Foster Care and Intensive Alternative Family Treatment offers each child a safe and nurturing environment in which the child’s needs can be assessed. During the child’s stay in therapeutic foster care, a licensed and fully trained foster parent has a positive influence on the child’s life by helping him or her deal with past traumas or behavioral health challenges.

The ultimate goal for therapeutic foster care is that each child return to the biological home after having made positive behavioral changes.

Tailored Care Management

At Support, Inc., we proudly offer Tailored Care Management (TCM), a person-centered Medicaid service available to all individuals enrolled in a North Carolina Tailored Plan. This service connects individuals and families with a dedicated care team that coordinates their behavioral health, physical health, and social support needs to ensure seamless, effective, and compassionate care.

Take control of your mental health this year.

Support, Inc. offers an array of outpatient therapeutic services to promote emotional health, including individual, group and family therapy as well as crisis intervention. Our therapists provide individual youth therapeutic counseling in dealing with emotional and behavioral problems like anger management, grief and loss, mood disorders and much more.

In addition to traditional individual youth therapy, we offer school-based therapy at selected area schools to promote emotional health for students within a school setting. Therapists work directly with caretakers and school staff to identify students who may benefit from therapeutic services. Traditional emotional and behavioral therapy counseling, teacher/staff consultation, crisis intervention and appropriate referrals to other mental health services are provided as needed.
