Come join us for a walk! ✨✨✨

Join us for a transformative weekend of self-exploration, creation, and community as we step into the magic of the labyrinth to discover a path through the maze of today.

Come along and meet us in the beautiful Berkshires for:

✨Labyrinth walks at dawn and dusk
✨Story time at twilight
✨Contemplative practice
✨Joyful movement
✨Creation and collaboration
✨And of course, plenty of time for rest and renewal

Together we’ll go there, and back again…the labyrinth awaits!

Good news, friends: SAFE Yoga is happening in Greensboro AND Charlotte every Saturday!

SAFE stands for Safe, Accessible, Free-flowing Energy — and that’s exactly what we want you to experience! This program is designed to open the door to yoga for racial/ethnic minorities and low-income communities, offering a welcoming space to move, breathe, and connect.

In each session, you’ll be introduced to different aspects of yoga and learn simple, practical ways to bring movement and mindfulness into your daily life. Whether you’re brand new or returning to the mat, our goal is to help you feel strong, balanced, and energized.

All classes are led by registered yoga instructors trained by I AM Yoga and are crafted with care to meet you where you are.

We started our mission two decades ago by bringing yoga to the people - from churches, to gyms and outdoor parks.

Now we’ve grown and our teachers span across the United States and even to Senegal, Africa. We are all dedicated to the same mission - to bring yoga to you.

We invite you to join us on your mat, either in-person or online.

Our classes offer a diverse range of options and opportunities to practice yoga, incorporating movement, breathwork, and meditation. No prior yoga experience is required, and our classes prioritize fostering inner curiosity and promoting rest.

Less than one month until we gather at Kripalu for the Yoga Retreat for Women of Color: Rediscover Your Divine Self!

On February 7, 1926, Carter G. Woodson initiated the first celebration of Negro History Week which led to Black History Month, to extend and deepen the study and scholarship on African American history, all year long.

February 6th - 8th, we gather for an intimate experience commemorating a century of Black history! We invite all women of color to join in this weekend, giving a moment to reflect on the power of witnessing our shared experiences of not only taking our place at the table, but holding each other as we do.

Through this retreat you will be empowered to transform your mind, body, and soul for collective liberation through movement, self-love, and soul work. Our time together will include accessible yoga (mat and chair), dance, theater and meditation. What is possible when we honor our shared journey for peace and inclusion? What is possible when we rise together to celebrate our divine right for belonging?

“Remember the sky that you were born under, know each of the star’s stories. Remember your birth, how your mother struggled to give you form and breath. You are evidence of her life, and her mother’s, and hers. Remember your father. He is your life, also. Remember the earth whose skin you are: red earth, black earth, yellow earth, white earth brown earth, we are earth. Remember you are all people and all people are you.”—Joy Harjo

Say yes to rest with Lenora!

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Soul Compass Yoga to our online schedule with Lenora Johnson beginning Friday, December 12th at 12:30PM.

Lenora referred to herself as an accidental yogi because she stumbled into her first yoga class at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, hoping for an easy elective. What she found instead was a gift that unlocked her inner rebel. She wanted to push the boundaries of movement (especially as a b***y girl), master the crow pose, and never leave the world of Vinyasa. Life had different plans, and after 2 major rear-end collisions, the body she once knew had changed. She temporarily lost her first love, Vinyasa due to changes in her mobility. The practice of one breath, one movement became her mantra for meditation and recovery. The journey of recovery led her to find her soul compass in Restorative and Yin yoga. Lenora is Yoga Alliance RYT-200 member and licensed clinical social worker who understands the benefits of a calm mind and nervous system. She offers you an opportunity to build a stronger mind-body connection.

ABOUT SOUL COMPASS YOGA
Slowing down is not only what you want, it’s what you need. This restorative slow flow class was created to give yourself unlimited permission to say Yes To Rest. Partnering relaxing words, breaths, and supportive movements to help you release stress and enjoy peace.
