Therapy Resource Group

Therapy Resource Group Therapy Resource Group is here to help. Our team is warm and engaging and cannot wait to help you. We offer in-person services.

Therapy Resource Group is a 501(c)(3) offering access to powerful counseling solutions and mental health tools because everyone deserves freedom from their past & hope for their future, regardless of their financial circumstances. We are highly trained and experienced with counseling for depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, self-harm, suicide, grief, addictions, and many other issues. We also offer telehealth, which allows you to receive therapy from the safety and comfort of your own home. With teletherapy, we can now help children, teens, and adults throughout the entire states of South & North Carolina. In early 2018, the first draft of this organization took shape by giving a workshop on adolescent group therapy. Elements of the organization quickly grew to include more curriculum offerings, more workshops and speaking engagements, and the creation of an international online resource that features counseling and therapy tools. Community gaps in mental healthcare needs quickly surfaced, leading Nicki and her husband to form a non-profit to meet those needs and bridge the gaps. This non-profit passionately works to provide clients with excellent care and empowers other clinicians by providing tangible tools and resources. Our practice is a unique environment. In addition to our state-of-the-art counseling rooms, we have a playroom, art studio, and recreational space which offers group sessions, yoga, and expressive arts therapies. We offer workshops on topics from trauma recovery strategies to healthy spending and eating. The Therapy Resource Group aspires to enhance and contribute to the community while offering the highest caliber of services. The agency recruits the most accomplished recent Masters level graduates and offers them complimentary supervision, ensuring that our clients receive the best and brightest services and training. We hope to meet you soon and welcome you to our growing community.

Gratitude is more than a feeling; it’s a mindset shift. When we intentionally notice what brings comfort, joy, or meaning, our brains release serotonin and dopamine, helping reduce stress and anxiety over time.

Gratitude doesn’t erase challenges, but it can change how we experience them 💛

You don’t need to manage everything to feel steadier. Sometimes focusing on what’s within reach is enough.

Neuroscience shows that the body’s chemical response to an emotion lasts about 90 seconds. When emotions feel endless, it’s often our thoughts, interpretations, or replaying that keeps the reaction going 💙

The start of a new year can bring a lot of pressure to change everything at once.
Mental wellness grows when we focus on realistic goals, healthy habits, and grace for ourselves along the way

You don’t have to do it all. One small, step is enough 🤍
