Just yesterday I read in my email from American Association of Christian Counseling that it is currently difficult to find mental health counseling in our country. The article was very lengthy with eye opening reasons why this is the current state of things since the pandemic.

I would never want someone in my realm of influence to go without the help they need. It’s for that reason, I wanted to share again that I’ve trained and been certified since 2020 with AACC to be a Mental Health Coach First Responder. I received my certification to be a Life Coach through LifeForming Leadership Coaching in 2007. I also have a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Life Christian
University.

Please reach out to me if you or someone in your family has need of help. Sometimes just two to three months sessions of coaching can bring some traction to your situation. I can offer you a free introductory session to evaluate your specific needs. I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction if I’m not the person who can speak to your situation.

“May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and He will do it.” (I Thess 5:23-24)

Imagine yourself as a triangle. Each of the points labeled as one of the following parts spoken of in scripture. (Spirit, Soul, Body)

If the triangle is sitting on its base, which part of you is at the top? Is your soul, which represents the seat of your emotions in the authoritative position? Do you sometimes feel you are ruled by your feelings and personality? Or is your body sitting in the top position, where your fleshly appetites, physical drives and habits take over frequently?

In order to live a life of freedom, our spirit, created in the image of God and inhabited by the Spirit of God, must be in that top position. This scripture reminds us that all of our being is beautiful to God. But we will find peace when we learn to bow daily to the control of His spirit in our lives.
