The holidays are almost upon us and the end of 2020 is just around the corner. This year has felt like 3 and it’s been going by slowly and quickly at the same time.

Funny how that works, our perception of time is relative to what we are doing on a day-by-day basis. Our brains are constantly taking in information and our subconscious records almost everything but only relates to the conscious mind that is relevant at that moment. Otherwise, we would go insane if we remembered every minute detail.

Sadly we live rudimentary lives, letting the days repeat themselves unless something breaks the pattern. Take this year for example, a lot of information and change happens in a short period of time and is followed by a longer period of monotony (Groudhoud Day anyone?).

This is why it feels like it goes by slow and fast. When new things happen, we take it in more and time seems to go by longer. When the same things happen, the mind puts you in a fast-forward situation and all of a sudden you need to start planning what you’re doing for Thanksgiving.

We are about to stuff ourselves with candy, drink too much, then eat copious amounts of food in the next 30 days. Maybe this is a good opportunity to switch things up?

Starting on November 16th, I am running a 5-Day Challenge on Becoming an Unstoppable Weeknd Warrior. It utilizes my 7-Days of Primal Nutrition course to show you what foods to eliminate that are holding you back.

For only 5 days (7-days if you’re a go-getter) you take control of the most important aspect of your health: what you put into your body. If you take the course and follow the accompanying meal plan, the week will be easy. If you procrastinate and follow the daily emails when the challenge starts, you will still learn a lot but you will also be in reactive mode.

It’s time to set yourself up for success for 2021 by setting the foundations now. It’s hard to stay healthy during the holidays but having these breaks in the middle of the festivities can help balance out the gorging.

What are you waiting for? It’s only for 5 days and will help you feel better after all of the candy and prepare you for the holiday treats. Sign up and share with friends and family to get them on board!

Cider braised pork stew!

Now that it's starting to get crisp in the air (and it's the best time of the year) I'm starting to get festive with the meal prepping.

Nothing can be more satisfying than a delicious and warming stew on a Autumn day. Having a multi cooker makes this recipe a breeze. The one I use is linked on my resources page (link in bio).

The combo of apple cider and bone broth makes a hearty stew and pairs beautifully with the pork butt. The flavor is second to none which is why I only source my meat from them. If you want to get this delicious meat yourself, then do yourself a favor and use the link in my bio to get some free meat added to your box.

The recipe is easy as:
1. Heat some fat like ghee in the multi cooker on high.
2. Score the fat cap with a knife and season with spices (I used new bae).
3. Sear the meat fat side first then add minced garlic and sliced red onion.
4. After searing on all sides, add baby potatoes, chicken bone broth and apple cider to cover 75% of the meat.
5. Cook on high for 6 hours or until tender.

This is a great stew to make 5-6 meals and only takes 3 minutes to reheat. It's a great way to fuel your life!

Hello everyone!

I am doing some market research to see how I can help people with their health issues.

The primary person I help is corporate men in their 30's who want to go from a desk jockey to a real weekend warrior. The number one result they get is a simple way to stay lean forever.

If you or anyone you know might be interested, can you please fill out this form?

It would be a HUGE favor if you do. It can be yourself, a family member, friend, or an acquaintance (even that coworker you only know through Zoom).

I have some big plans for the end of this year and the beginning of 2021. You don't want to miss out on these opportunities and please share this message!

A quick method for cooking pork ribs and adding it to your meal prep for the week!

Get yourself the best tasting ribs from and score both sides with a sharp knife.

Rub the ribs with BBQ seasoning and cook in a pressure cooker on high for 25 minutes (add 1 cup of water).

After cooking the ribs you can cool them and heat up later for an easy BBQ!

Heat an oven to 400 and coat the ribs with BBQ sauce (I like golden BBQ sauce). Roast for 15-20 minutes and enjoy moist, fall off the bone flavor.

I have a FREE meal plan with awesome recipes like this. Click the link in my bio to download it and you will be invited to take my course that will teach you how to meal prep like a chef.

Made a quick recipe with the vegan mayo sent me!

Take one jar of mayo and add:
1 tsp. of coconut aminos
1 Tbsp. of mustard
1 Tbsp. of chopped rosemary
2 Tbsp. of lemon olive oil
1 bulb of roasted garlic

Blend in a food processor until incorporated. Scrape down the sides and add some chopped scallions.
Blend again until smooth.

The vegan mayo from makes a great base for a dip! Tangy and airy, it can be used as a substitute for mayo but I found it's real benefit as a secret ingredient in recipes.

Let me know what else you think this mayo can be used for!

My Ethos

I am passionate about leading a healthy life through food. I believe that proper nutrition is the fuel you need to live a long and fulfilling life. My background in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management from Johnson & Wales University gave me a chef’s approach to mindful eating. The experience I received from the Coast Guard as a Food Service Specialist and a Unit Health Promotion Coordinator refined my discipline.

I fully dove in the Health and Wellness space by pursuing my Health Coach Certification through the Primal Health Coach Institute. Through this course I learned that ancestral principles are the key to vitality and living life optimally.

This obsession has allowed me to reach incredible fitness goals and enjoy every waking moment. I created ten food principles to live by that define my ethos and way of life:

I started this site to help people with their health and wellness journey. It is never ending and becomes more enjoyable over time. With the proper support and motivation, it is possible for everyone to achieve this life!
