Happy New Year! I’ve been a little absent, but for good reason. I’ve been baking a little baby girl 💝 I’m sure that she will be love wrapped up in a bow 🥰

Being a business owner, while working full time and being a mom/wife/sister/daughter/friend/etc. is not for the weak. I don’t consider myself weak, but I am tired. Completely exhausted. In need of a break and vacation that includes not thinking or making decisions. I’m excited to rest this new year. I’ll be honest, usually I make an entire goal list complete with action steps for each area of my life and my businesses, but I didn’t do that. I just want to be a great mom. I want to finish applying for school. I want to relax. I’ve put in a lot of work the past few years and I deserve rest 💕

Here’s to 2023 being full of possibilities with no expectations and REST 🥂

Well hello from Creation Central 🎨 💻

I took a mini brain break to try and come back with some more ideas and it definitely worked! 👏🏾 so excited to get to work! I’ve been seeing where my admin gift meshes with my love for everything else and it’s unfolded into such a beautiful and wonderful flow of processes. That’s such nerd talk 🤓😂

I’ve got a branding proposal to make, some brainstorming to do, emails to send, my final logo to make, some flyers to do for and much more. I needed the space to make sure I’m going in the right direction. I want to do things right, even though right isn’t always fast. I can’t wait to finish up .lu and present that. I can’t wait to just do more. It’s been an exciting 6 months and I’m ready to tackle the next 6 with grace and expectation 👏🏾

How was your Friday? Mine went like this:

I had such restless sleep because I knew I had a few tasks to do today, so I woke up on a thousand ready to just conquer the day. I got Bryce ready for school, got to work, went to get my bag as usual and realized I left my bag, with my computer and wallet, at home 😩 I did get some stuff done tho! ✅

Then I went to my lash appointment, where I share in motherhood stories with Kenisha, and Bryce was just not feeling crawling around this visit. He wanted to stay under Mommy and try to rip her lashes out. So, like any good Mommy we figure it out. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and banana teething sticks for the win! 🏆 Now, we try to relax until tomorrow’s day 😌

On Sundays we Curate 📝🤓

Orrrr we have family day 😉 I didn’t curate much last night (I’ve got to make up for it today), but I wouldn’t trade the time off for anything. I’m trying to learn how to add play as hard as I work.

We went to the exhibit in Charlotte and it was the BEST time! Camp North End is fun in general, but this exhibit is just the coolest. It’s definitely for kids of all ages, as I’ve learned a lot from it too! I’m a royal purple who likes to solve problems 🤪 I definitely encourage other Moms in the area to take their littles because it’s worth it!

Also, I really do wanna be one of those influencers who get to do free stuff…where do I start?! 😂

What a special day ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day to all versions of motherhood there are. Shoutout to those who stay home with their littles, those that raise businesses and babies and all in between. We are magical and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Today I’m spending the day with my family. I curated e light for the next couple of days so I can relax 🧘🏾‍♀️

Special love and prayers to those that are still hoping for motherhood. I’ve been there and I understand your pain. 💕

Just a girl livin’ the dream 🧘🏾‍♀️

It’s May! Chile, my schedule is already booked and busy. What’s up for this month, you ask? Well, you didn’t, but here you go anyways 😂:

• Applying for grant for ALITM
• Mother’s Day event at church
• Finalizing profile templates, official site and recording how-to and explanation videos for .lu
• Membership weekend and Pastoral Anniversary! 💃🏾
• A bunch more that I haven’t mentioned: appointments, meetings, Mom and wife stuff, life.

Yesterday, I woke up a little bit stressed about the upcoming week, but my friend reminded me that we can just plan the week the next day. Being forward thinking works for being an admin, being a wife and mom, being a business lady and such, but it does induce just a little stress. I’ll definitely be practicing my anxiety coping skills this month! BTW, it’s also mental health awareness month. We’ll see if I’ve got some room to share some coping (maybe reels). Don’t worry, I’ll take you on the journey the whole month with me, although you didn’t ask 😂🫠 Anyways, here’s to a prosperous and exciting May! Let’s slay it together 🗡🌸

Happy Administrative Professionals Day!

I had the best day today! It started strange with a p**p explosion from the little one and an impromptu trip to Mommy’s office for 20 minutes 😆, but it ended so wonderfully. I feel like today was orchestrated by God and I needed it. I feel so loved today and that’s everything to me 💕

On Sundays we Curate 📝

We’re back curating! And traveling apparently 💁🏾‍♀️ anxiety was on fifty ‘leven thousand this morning, but we made it safely! This is an exciting week because we’re visiting my husband’s family and they’re going to spoil the mess out of Bryce while we’re here. Which means Mommy will get a bit of a break. I’m so excited for it. I’m going to work (regular job, the lu, social media stuff, you know the vibes) but I get a bit of brain power back because I won’t have to worry about Bryce. I’m taking advantage of the help and will get some rest too. I desperately need it and deserve every bit of it.

Who knows…maybe I’ll even post more content here 😏
