Neighborhood Kid’s Yoga Class! Each child was so open to meditating, moving, breathing and telling me what brings them joy - “music, pizza, friends, mom and dad” 💗 It was a joy to spend the morning doing what I love! Thanks to my teacher assistance and 🫶

✨Do not spend time and energy with those that do not comfort your soul and accept you for exactly who you are. My oldest, surprised me with her first and more than likely not her last tattoo. She got her sister to ask me to write down that “quote you always say” for her “marketing project”. Low and behold it was so Abby could get her first tattoo in my handwriting. So incredibly special that she too knows the power of setting her boundaries with relationships, events and tasks that do not serve her, at a young age. May we all be bold and strong enough to do the same✨

A smile says it all 🤍

Last month I received additional training to teach kid’s yoga. While it was sprinkled into my 200 hour yoga training, this training went much deeper into meeting children where they are and guiding them through it. I felt a really strong pull to do this and so glad I did. It was a very strong connection for me when being around little yogis! We will see where it takes me! Thank you to and for being such excellent teachers!

When your baby girl is home from her first year of college and comes to your yoga class✨

I asked her to critique and give me all the feedback - what she liked and didn’t like. During meditation and pranayama, she was reminded of the tater tots she was going to put in the air fryer when she got home - hey, it’s a practice, right?

My favorite moments were her giggle during some of my assists and her sweet smile when I leaned down and kissed her forward during savasana 💗

Our meditation practice today started with affirmations✨

Five affirmations:
- I am resilient
- I am whole
- I am worthy
- I am loved
- I am enough

All of these affirmations resonated with me this morning, especially “I am loved”. Seeing two special women in my life joining my class just made me feel that love so deeply. Two women that have known me all of my life and take me for exactly who I am✨

Taking some time this month to focus on my own practice - asana, pranayama and meditation.

No classes this December. A little pause can help determine priorities, get my creative juices flowing, motivate me and guide my intentions. Enjoy a little break this holiday season and focus on your own yoga practice and see where it takes you.
