Help is welcome Nicole Mielnicki, LCSW to our team at MMC! Nicole enjoys working with adolescents and adults and specializes in working with complex trauma, suicidal ideations, grief/loss, self-esteem/self-worth, relationship struggles, and identity development. She is passionate about how our physical health impacts our mental health. Here are some fun facts to get to know Nicole a little better:

⭐️I was born and raised on Long Island, NY and moved to Charlotte without knowing anybody here
⭐️I’m a part-time kickboxing coach🥊
⭐️In my free time I love moving my body, trying new food 🥘 and spending time with friends!
⭐️I have a cat named Luna 😽 and a dog named Lola 🐶
⭐️The beach is my happy place🌊

Today, 10/10/24, is World🌎Mental 🧠Health🤍 Day!

For too many years mental health has often been looked over or not considered as “important” as physical health. In more recent years, thankfully, we as a society have slowly started to talk more about our mental health and well-being, normalizing it as part of the human experience.

Let’s all do something today to continue on this path of ending the stigma! Check in with yourself, with a friend, have a conversation about it, or do something to take care of your mental wellness today!

At MMC, we will forever be on a mission to make mental health a more approachable and accessible experience for all 💜
