Seeing clinicians like Sarah grow from unsure and overwhelmed to confident and grounded in their practice means the world to me 🫶

That transformation doesn't happen by accident. It happens when you have the right support, the right guidance, and someone who genuinely cares about your growth as a clinician and a business owner.

& you could be next.

👉I'm opening up a CEDS supervision group starting January 29th (only 8 spots at $60 per quarter). This is your chance to stop doing it alone and start building the confidence and clarity you deserve.

As dietitians, we do not learn a lot about supervision in school.

What is supervision? It is a place to go to a trusted dietitian to talk through different situations, learn, be challenged, and process different things that come up.

The nature of eating disorders work can be very grueling. Connecting with a trusted dietitian for this process can be invaluable. Swipe through to learn more about the benefits!

I talk with clients all the time about two people can be doing the same action, and it can be disordered for one person and not the other.

Some people can run a marathon and fuel properly and it not be disordered. Another person could run a marathon and focus solely on the calories they are burning without refueling properly. That is disordered. (Spoiler alert: This is prime conditions for an injury.)

This breakfast is one example of an action I did that was disordered and now it isn't. Same action, different intent.

Jumping on this trend because I have some spicy 🌶 things to say.
The things I would tell you if I wasn't afraid of hurting feelings, losing followers, pi***ng people off, or inviting an argument.
This whole post is an "I said what I said" moment.

One thing I talk about a lot with my clients is how they want to be able to accept themselves when they are retired and entering their golden years.

If you have a poor relationship with your food and body as you age, it tends to get worse. Our body absolutely does not find women having aging bodies acceptable. There's a lot of pressure to always look like you're 40.

This is unfair and can cause people to continue to intensely focus on weight loss at the expense of being able to enjoy their lives. I don't want that for my clients or anyone else.

Make peace with your body and food now so you can unapologetically live your life later.
